Resumo: Main idea of the project – Let’s dare to change everyday life and embrace new shades. Children, youngsters and volunteers are open for the new ideas, are interested in various activities and inquisitive, so we will try to create all situations and opportunities for the most possible variety of their experiences.
Project’s motto – Let’s do what you want to do and do it inventively!

Objective of the project – To create environments for open and direct dialogue, collaboration between able and disabled youth, in pursuance of personal, social and professional (vocational) changes.

The Special education centre organizes various after lessons activities and social events for pupils with and without disabilities. This surely requires material and human resources. The presence and work of EVS volunteers is wonderful and irreplaceable for the Centre and for the professional team. The volunteers will be fully included into the team, in organising activities and different workshops for the children and youngsters with disabilities. The EVS volunteer will be able to bring own new ideas and interests to the work at Panevėžysspecial education centre and in return will learn a lot from the daily work of the professional staff. Volunteers will bring with them new fresh ideas, new games, new culture, new language, etc. Exchange and learning will happen every day.

The main aim of this EVS project is to support the children to express themselves in a creative way, to awaken their interests in different common group activities and topics.

Perfil: We are searching for young people looking for projects, who are not afraid to work with intellectually disabled children.
It is welcome if the volunteer has basic English language skills and is willing to study Lithuanian, which would help a lot in the daily life of a volunteer.

Age: 17-30

Tarefas: work with intellectually disabled children and youngsters (7 – 21 years old)
