Resumo: In 2008 and 2009 the Foundation conducted a study to discover the resources Carrús neighborhood, their strengths, their weaknesses, etc.. Apart from knowing the reality of the neighborhood has also helped us to plan our strategy of intervention with the population of the district, which culminated in the creation of an intercultural space, educational and social intervention called Corner of Cultures.
Here are strata of this study to describe and to understand the local community where it will take place the project.

Perfil: - be avaliable for the whole duration of the volunteering period and pre-departure training;
- interest in the intercultural learning and social inclusion through creativity;
- flexible, communicative, open-minded and creative personality with ability to work in team;
- at least basic Spanish and good knowledge of English language;
- age: 18-30

Tarefas: Volunteers with European Voluntary Service in Spain will support youth organization in all organized activities, in particular by development and participation in recreational and cultural activities; supporting the organization in various events organized throughout the year (sport, art, cultural or educational workshops and activities, thematic events, etc.); promoting the Youth in Action Programme among young people of the neighborhood and the city and also promoting youth volunteerism both locally and internationally (Europe). Own project according to the volunteer’s interests is welcomed.
