Resumo: The volunteers will work each day of the week in a different institution, so the target group that they will work with will be different: from children of 2 years to elderly people 90 years. The entire target group is located in a rural area, so the volunteer need to know that he/she will live in a rural area with a family of the area in a very small community.

Perfil: We are looking for volunteers that enjoy the rural area life. Generally the families live humbly with the basics. The volunteer has to like teaching, patience and tolerance, be proactive and learn self-management. Volunteers will share and integrate into the routine and family dynamics. You will share with them meals, housework (field work).

age: 17-30

Tarefas: During their stay they will work to the community in different locations: Pre-schools, Schools, High schools, Community center, kindergartens, Elderly home, rural associations.

The volunteers will be responsible for the organization of non-formal education workshops like: language course (it could be Portuguese or English), they will assist the teachers and educators in sports, music, computing and library activities. They will be able to create a workshop of their interest (cooking, music, films, etc).


The volunteers will be working in 3 villages in Canelones County. They will live with families from this villages.
