Resumo: "The ASEAC association has human and material means::
- Social workers (specialized educators, social service assistants, monitoring educators, technical educators), into which is added a médico-psychological team (psychiatrist, psychologists, nurses) and family assistants.
- Administrative staff formed with management.
- Specific staff necessary to the structures various operating modes.
- Buildings of hosting, different buildings used by social and educational services, workshop
- Vehicles for visits in families.
The ASEAC gives itself any latitude and has in its vocation to create, in connection with its supervisions, any structure which appears necessary to improve the quality of its services.
Situated in the department of the Corrèze near Quercy and near Périgord, Brive-la-Gaillarde, conscript the Door of the South, and its Country is rich in classified and remarkable villages. The gastronomy and the rugby are the strong images of its territory. Whether it is at the height of the season or a little more in the peace, to come here is always a real choice … Personality's question!
Situation and access:
- 50 000 inhabitants

The hosted volunteer will be accommodated in university apartment within the CROUS residence of Brive and he will take his meals, except those taken in service in university canteens or residence (in the case of restoration in residence a financial fixed price will be set up). The local movements will be made thanks to the Brive public transport network.
Altea France will take care, throughout volunteer stay, to give him a linguistic formation adapted according to his level and his needs by a personal trainer recruited by our care. The French courses will proceed within Brive (2h per week) within association: ""Une Maison pour Apprendre"".

Perfil: "We would wish that the hosted volunteer want to involve in a future professional project centred towards education, animation in his country of origin or the resumption of studies in relation with psychology, social act, socio cultural animation or health.
It is important also that the candidate has experience or/and the strong will to give assistance on a professional level, with a target group often in great suffering, educational reference mark lack and the volunteer must be able to adapt in a multi-field team where he will take all his place.
Volunteer must have wishes to discover an intervention in multi-field team dealing with young people in difficulties.
He will be ready for a long term EVS.

Tarefas: "The Volunteer will take part in daily life in one of the two ASEAC units in charge of young people with social and psychological difficulties (House of Reception and External Service Young people) volunteer will also have the opportunity to observe and include/understand the intervention of the professionals, teachers, psychologists, male nurses, frameworks… in the exercise of their profession.
Evaluate these two units with in the context of the whole association.
Evaluate the child protection in comparaison to the country of origin.
Finally to measure the human stakes of them (economic prevention / take load for the authorities)
Brief definition of the two host services for the young volunteer :
The House of Reception: This unit receives children in great difficulty. These young people in failure, danger are accomodated and supported on the educational, psychological, medical and social plans by a multi-field professional team. The child hosting and personalized accompaniment, in constant bond with its family, contribute to a singular responsibility assumption, continues, multifocale or sequential, adapted to the needs for each one. The freedom, the respect and the responsibility constitute our basic values.
Young External Service: This unit accomodates and takes in charge with some city flat the young people likely to be able to live alone and for whom neither the boarding school nor the family constitutes a convenient or sufficient support. The multi-field professional team accompanies and supports the young person in their development and control of ther life project and enabling them autonomy. Socialization by schooling, training, occupation, sport, culture… is privileged there
Task details :
Daily contacts with young people, accompaniment in everyday life simple steps (meals, leisures, informal exchanges, wake up time, sleep time…)
Participation in school support and vocational training
Follow particularly more, in a second time, one or two young in realization of their project (with the educational referents)
Take part in team work meetings, individual conversation with the young or their families
Regular exchange with various professionals of these units.
Exchange with the other persons in charge for the ASEAC units.

Horário: "We apply the national collective agreement of non-adapted childhood, 35 working hours per week and 2 days off per month. The following timetable is just an example, this one can change if specific activities are in planned.
- Monday from 9h15 to 13h15 and from 16h30 to 20h30
- Tuesday from 9h15 to 13h15 and from 16h30 to 20h30
- Wednesday from 9h15 to 13h15 and from 16h30 to 20h30
- Thursday from 9h15 to 13h15 and from 16h30 to 20h30
- Friday from 10h00 to 13h
- Holidays :
In agreement with EVS Program the holidays are 2 day per month.
