Tarefas: The role of volunteers will mainly support of all the activities that the Center plays daily. The EVS Volunteers will make an important contribution to the operators and center volunteer’s to carry out the services.
Principals tasks:
ACCEPTANCE: It’s the first contact point that connects immigrants to the association. EVS volunteers supported by the operators’ have the possibility to make first acceptance of immigrants in order to satisfy their needs.
LISTENING CENTRE: it’s the most important service of the center that can offer personal goods an advising about all the different services. EVS volunteers will support operators (psychologists and cultural mediators) to identificate the immigrants’ needs and in promoting intercultural dialogue.
ITALIAN SCHOOL and AFTER SCHOOL: the volunteers will assist Italian teacher during their lessons, for 14 hours at week; EVS volunteers will support also the activities of Center operators’ in baby-sitting, in homeworking, in entertaining sons of immigrants.
TERRITORY MEETING: EVS volunteer will support activity Centre to involved in the organization of events and meetings related to Migrantes cultural integration themes and in promoting legal and anti-discrimination culture.
HOUSING CENTER: EVS volunteer will support activities of housing center, like checking in the users, organizing events as cineforum, socialization activities for the minors involved; organizing and preparing the beds, the sheets and the cloche.
