Resumo: The Association is an organisation founded by parents who have children with mental disabilities. Two years ago they opened a day Centre for people with mental disabilities and their parents and relatives.
The Center is opened from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM till 2 PM. Every day there are organised different recreational and educational activities, such as: sport activities, sewing class, working with the wood, theater and etc. Association’s staff is mainly working on voluntary basis, some of them are parents, and some of them are volunteers who want to help.
Every day the Centre is visited by up to 35 beneficiaries.

Perfil: Age: 17-30

Tarefas: After adaptation volunteer will be asked to help some beneficiaries to to come to the center and after activities to go with them back home.
The volunteer is expected to bring his/her creativity, project ideas, experience in, for example, arts and cultural expressions and/or sports and games to work and participate, support and lead different kind of projects that is developed at our centre.
The volunteer will bring his/her experiences from another culture and the process of getting familiar with Moldovan society to the everyday work and life.

The language learning process will continue on a daily basis in the work environment through communication with co-workers, youngsters and the people in the community.
It is important for everyone involved (our beneficiaries, the staff and the volunteers themselves) to broaden their view of the world, to stimulate them to be more open and tolerant towards different cultures and to learn from each other.
We hope that volunteers will learn a lot during their EVS project in our institution. They will have an opportunity to learn a new culture and language. Undoubtedly, a contact with disabled youngsters and adults will teach them responsibility, empathy as well as communication and organizational skills. The association has a general timetable of activities already established and volunteers will get included in them but will also have opportunities to bring their own ideas to initiate new activities best wishes,

12:00 – 14:00 Educational activity* • Educational activites change every day – Monday - glina, mathematic, grammar; Tuesday and Thursday – social activity – estetic education (concerts, theater); Wednesday – work in the garden / cleaning the teritoryaround the building / excursions, theater, museum, gardening in the village/ sewing
11:00 till 14:00; Friday – grammar, mathematic, embrodery ribbons. If the weather is good on Friday we go gardening, Wednesday – excursions.
