Resumo: We are are volunteer-based organisation. We welcome that the EVS-volunteers that we intend to recruit will have their own interests in permaculture and that they are autonomous enough to develop their own projects with us.
We would like the volunteers to participate in daily tasks of the running of the organisation and the two permaculture sites associated with it.
We would like the volunteers to be proactive and have an interest in joining some of the action-groups that are currently running in the country.

The local community where the project will take place:
The immediate environment is a vibrant village.
The village is an ecological municipality that is on its way towards energy autonomy.
There are many potential points of cooperation with the municipality.
The host organization is organised in a network-like way, so that we have action-groups in different parts of Luxembourg, some in rural, some in urban places.
Luxembourg is a multicultural, wealthy country with an enormous ecological footprint, so it is an interesting place for an NGO such as the host organization to operate in promoting sustainalbility.

Perfil: Interested in permaculture and permaculture design.
Being at least familiar with eco-social organisations and ways of proceeding, passionate about agroecology and low-impact living
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: EVS volunteers will participate in daily activities, as necessary. They will actively participate in the running of the two permaculture sites and they will be asked to pursue their own heart projects developed jointly with our organization.

Possible activities in which the volunteers could be involved and activities the volunteers could create in our organisation:
-Gardening: planting, weeding, cleaning, mowing, mulching, seeding, composting, pruning, harvesting, tending,…
-Household management: cooking and kitchen duties, looking after the participants of courses, tending the organization rooms
-Organisation: assisting in organising and running events, courses and activities, running meetings and steering group processes
-Participation and representation: representing the organization at network meetings, demonstrations, gatherings and other public events
-Administration: updating blog, website, email lists, membership correspondance, managing the library and resources…
