Resumo: The project takes place in a medium sized city in Sweden with about 100 000 inhabitants. About one hour away from the one of the largest cities . The city is famous for being the center for the Swedish textile industry. The town also have many sports and cultural associations and hosts a few major sports and cultural events.

Perfil: We are looking for a volunteer in the age around 24-30, who will work together with another volunteer

Tarefas: The volunteers will be involved in a house full of activities and learning opportunities. The target groups for this project are youngsters in ages of 12-18, so the volunteer will work with young people who are visiting the youth club.

The activities of the volunteers will be divided in several areas:40% work at the youth club with daily activities, planning and executing activities with staff and youth, inspire, motivate and share personal experiences and knowledge. 30% to inform others about EVS and inspire youth in the town to participate in Erasmus+ program and share their own experience of coming to a new country. Also to inform and hold presentations to staff, decision makers and schools. 30% working with democracy of the youth by learning about the organization, attend workshops about influence, gender- and norm criticism with the staff and participate in district bound democracy issues.
Everyday activities are for example:
-Support visitors ideas for activities and projects
-Youth leadership training
-Creative workshops
-Outdoor activities
-Sports
-Baking
-Music
-Dance
-Movie nights
-Board games
-Home work
-Help out in the cafeteria, make coffee and sandwiches.
-Swedish lessons for the volunteer

Condições: ACCOMODATION: The volunteer will be staying in an own room at a student dorm where Swedish students live, and have access to shared areas, such as living rooms, kitchen, Wifi etc.
ALLOWANCE/POCKET: You will receive a monthly payment (including pocket money) to buy food to cook yourself. Traveling during the project will be financed with a bus card for public transport.
INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT: The project will cover international transport to/from Sweden.
