Resumo: The organization is inside the marginalised Roma settlement which is a part of the village. In this area live only Roma people with social and economic issues. It is located in countryside.
The organization is in the centre of the historical town. Roma children are visiting centre after school which is located in the town. Children are from surrounding villages. Both centres provide after school program, education program and organise the leisure activities for children from less privileged families, mostly Roma children and their families.

Volunteers will be accommodated in the village but will be active in both centres. They will mostly spend their free time in the town, where they can find many historical monuments including the castle,historical part, there are also many possibilities for exploring the nature around the town, trekking and hiking or riding the bicycle is available. The town is usually quiet but during the season (summer) it is more lively and people can choose different events. Winter is silent in the town but the mountains are close by and one can enjoy the skiing or even ice skating. For those who enjoy more fun and socialising, then the buses go regularly to the bigger towns.

In the village there are shops – groceries, chemists, clothes, restaurants, guest houses. There is no problem to get basic things and there is always possibility to take a bus and go to the city.

Perfil: Candidates applying for this position should meet following requirements:
- be avaliable for the whole duration of the volunteering period and pre-departure training;
- strong motivation for social work and interest in integration of Romas;
- flexibility, sense for responsibility and good communication skills;
- creativity and good knowledge of English language.
- age:17-30

Tarefas: Institution will host 5 volunteers for this project with social inclusion of marginalized Roma communities in Slovakia as a main aim. To the volunteers’ basic tasks will belong work with Roma children and youth in the community centre to facilitate educational activities (programmes of tutoring, non-formal education); low-threshold club and free-time activities for children and youth; labour and career counseling service and community activities. Under the supervision of the staff members, volunteers will take part in educational and free time activities for children at centres on a daily basis.
