Resumo: The host organization was founded in 2001 by three film enthusiast friends who wanted to create a Europe-wide platform for cooperation between young filmmakers. Currently with a total of 31 member associations dedicated to cinema in
different fields with over 1500 individual members. The organization is present in 28 countries all around Europe. All the organization member associations organize workshops, screenings, conferences and seminars and all kind of activities
related with cinema, fact that favors the organization to be present in a huge European level.
Our main aims are:
- to discover new film talents
- to develop cross-cultural audiovisual projects
- to foster European awareness through cinema
- to create a platform of discussion and collaboration for young European filmmakers
Our main activities are:
- organising filmmaking & scriptwriting workshops
- holding various cinema-related meetings (conferences, seminars, etc.)
- promoting short films (through screenings, making of DVDs, etc.)
- editing publications (various books & a daily magazine produced during several European film festivals)
The team is composed by
- A supervisory Board (President, Treasurer, Secretary)
- An excecutive board (Heads of departments : Script/ FilmLab/ Debate/ Networking
- A European office staff (Administrative manager, administrative assistant, Communication manager)
Target group is Young people of 16 to 35 years old, inhabiting in the member states of the European Council (programme countries and Neighbouring Partner Countries)
Perfil: The organization is looking for an english speaker volunteer male or female, aged between 18 and 34 years old. No
particular CV, degree or school curiculum are requested.
Ideally, the volunteer should be experienced in being involved in an association and organising small NGO projects.
He/she could have particular skills in communication, translation and design/ editing softwares. However, none of
thoses skills are mandatory to apply because they can be learnt easily during the volunteering period.
The candidate has to be curious and hightly motivated to participate in our projects. His/her sense of team
building will be a plus. Our staff would like him/her to be independent, serious and attentive. His/her force of
proposal will be appreciated. The organization would like to receive a volunteer interested in defending cultural
diversity and solidarity. He/she will have to have a real desire to learn how to build a quality project on European
values.
No prejudice related to ethnic group, religion, sexual orientation, political opinion are accepted in the network
from anyone (partners/ volunteer/ intern/members/employees). This is an important value certified by the
Statuts and the Rules and Regulation document of the association.

Tarefas: - to built an exchange with the host. org. and the locality.
- to built his personal local socio-cultural project in accordance with his mentor and give new ideas.
- to communicate and disseminated all the organization´s projects supported by EVS.
