Resumo: The host organization is a Community Theater and offers volunteers, supporters and actors to get socially and culturally engaged in a district formed by migration. In 2010 the organization moved into the historic building of the former desinfection institution and is now transforming this space into a community theater- a theater that becomes alive through the exchange with ist surrounding. As a direct neighbour of the theater School has become a close partner on our way to a theater without borders. We would like this place to become a space where the community living around can develop long lasting solidary relations and enjoy life long learning in the practice of living.

Perfil: The volunteers should be open for an intercultural, creative and intergenerational environment and bring along motivation to get engaged actively in the structure of our association.
We will inspect applications in the team focussing on the interests of the applicant to make sure he or she can combine them with the possibilities given to get engaged in our association. We contact the volunteers in advance using phone, emails and skype and if needed we arrange a personal meeting as well.
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: Regarding their individual interests and skills the volunteers will be introduced and involved in activities
- in the area of media (graphic design, photography, website-management, social media) and public relations (writing texts, translations and articles)
- in the area of organisation of events and workshops. The volunteers will have the possibility to create and coordinate creative and sociocultural workshops (for children, youngsters and intergenerationally). Of course they are always welcome to participate themselves in workshops, to develop their own projects or to assist other workshop leaders
- that contribute to the development of the infrastructure of the theater space: skilled manual jobs in the rooms, in the garages and the backyard of the theater, e.g. working with wood, technical work, electrical assistance, stage building etc.
