Resumo: The Commune is located in the middle of the region. It consist of 24 villages concentrated in 15 smaller communities. It is habited by over 4000 people. The highest point of the municipality at an altitude of 284 m above sea level and the lowest point.
The commune has an agricultural character, on its area can be found around 800 premises. Through the commune’s territory runs national road. Still, several dozen hectares are expected to be dispensed. In the whole commune architectural engineering extends, including: housing, settlements and recreational; on one hand because of nearness, on the other because of picturesque landscapes. The pre-war architecture was strongly influenced by German settlers. Moreover, there are many well preserved characteristic buildings, both housing and agricultural, built of stone or of stone and bricks, covered with ceramic tiles.

In the Commune there are two primary schools and one Commune Junior High School. There are also 3 amateur singing groups composed of seniors. In the commune you can find Commune Public Library and The Community Centre of Culture and Ecology which is Local Government Culture Institution. The Centre is a commune institution and it cooperates with schools, Commune Agriculture Society, Commune’s Women Board and with Folk Sport Team, organizing many artistic and outdoor events, competitions, trainings, contests, meetings and tournaments.

Perfil: We expect that the volunteers should responsible, communicative, imaginative, motivated, patient, reliable, helpful, tolerant, honest and wishing to learn in order to get involved in different activities with children and youngsters.
Our centre is a new institution and we are open to host volunteers coming from all program countries but also from all partners countries. Thus we want to provide regional and gender balance.
We are going to provide a transparent procedure in everything that involve the available EVS placements and the sections criteria. We a€™ll post on other mail groups all the information regarding the above mentioned. We a€™ll send this information also to all our international partners. We expect a good cooperation in the selection procedure with sending organizations. Each volunteer who applied will get a personal e-mail with these result. We would like to cooperate by long term basis, with organizations for youth with whom we can exchange volunteers and prepare together ecological and cultural projects.
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: We all provide the volunteers the necessary information about all the activities, not related to the project, that they might be interested in, such as leisure activities and the events. The voulunteer will be involve in all cultural and entertainment activities organized by The Community Centre of Culture and Ecology.
There are several tasks aimed the volunteers as follows:
-daily activities in our centre (website update, promotion campaigns, ceramics course, painting, playing musical instruments, vocal lessons, karaoke, theater’s workshops, different kinds of dances, special activities for children, art, crafts, fitness, English conversations, workshops form vounteer’s native language for different age groups)
-participation and help with organizing annual outdoor events such as: Local Government’s Picnic, Harvest Festival
- participation and help with organizing meetings with representatives of the older generations such as: Senior’s Day, Soldier's Song Festival, Meeting with Siberians – people who were deported during 2nd World War and after it
-preparing and running an information campaign on active participation and campaign on active participation and inclusion, working on written materials such as application forms, brochure about The Community Centre of Culture and Ecology
-workshops in the centre to raise awareness of importance foreign languages in daily living
-cooperation with young people from our commune in initiating and developing youth projects within â€~Youth in Action’ program
The volunteers will get appropriate training from our institution€™s stuff to be able to fulfill their tasks. Thus the volunteers will be encouraged to develop their own projects based on their hobbies, ideas and competences. We expect that the volunteers will run language courses in our cetre, using nonformal education tools. We also expect that the volunteers will help in the development of our institutions organizational management. We believe that the volunteers will make Polish people familiar with their culture and mores by presenting them step by step (through workshops). On the other hand we believe that contact with representatives of the older generations from our community will be an important element in supporting the learning process for each volunteer.

The volunteer will have a weekly program of 30-35 hours. Working hours during the week are flexible. The volunteers can be involved also in our weekend activities, in this case, they can have additional free time during the week.
Each of volunteers will have its own room. For food they will get money and they can cook themselves. We will provide the volunteers in case of need also bicycles. The volunteer will get proper Polish language courses during their stage (around 6 hours weekly in 3 months). To get to the centre, the volunteers can use local transport (five lines of MPK) or buses which are available to each desired destination.
