Resumo:
The host organization is located in a city where the economic and living conditions of most of the people are bad. The rate of unemployment in our area is more than 50%. Two-thirds of all children under the age of 15 are living by social benefits. The inhabitants are quiete young. In our quarter we have high rate of people with foreign background especially from the countries of the former Soviet Union.

A lot of the younger people don’t leave their quarter often. They mostly have no international expieriences and are often affraid of foreigners or new conditions.
But the quarter has a very good infrastructure with schools, youth centers, play grounds and other public places, public services and is quiet green and beautiful as far as landscape is concerned.

Perfil: We welcome open people with self security. The volunteers should be older than 18 years without any criminal past as far as sexuality and abuse are concerned. They need a police certificate of good conduct to prove it (according to German regulations). Otherwise they cannot implement activities in the field of social work and with youth.

The volunteer should contact us with European form of CV (Europass on English, French or German) and motivation letter. After receiving the applications of the interested people, we organise a meeting in the office and we select the best candidate for the proposed activities according to motivation of candidates, opportunity to learn and opportunity to improve their knowledge. After this we contact the candidate and talk to them about there personality, wishes and we check all important personal and formal facts. This step is also important for choosing in which project they can and want to support with goal to project be in best interest of volunteer with biggest chance for learning. For us it doesn’t matter if the interested person has any experiences in being abroad- but motivation, creativity and the wish to be in action are important. We also welcome interested and engaged people with certain problems and needs of support.

Tarefas: Volunteers can engage himself/herself in the field of international youth work. They will escort our youth exchanges and prepare own units, for example icebreaking games or games for group dynamics. To our Partners, at moment we have them in France, Poland, Israel, Czech, Ukraine, Serbija, Kosovo, Belgium, Italy and Portugal, they ceep the contact. If it is in competence of the volunteers, they can make new contacts or develope own projects.

Volunteers will be also involved in activities implemented by our organization which is under state or city programme. We have diversity and carnivals projects which we implement every year under different topic and political education such as the under 18 elections. Beside that volunteer hosted in this facility will developing project ideas with experienced project making person with whom he/she will be able to learn how to make, apply and implement successful project and also to share and develop own ideas in to the project proposals.

The volunteers will be in contact with youngsters from our projects, and provide help for them to develop ideas for projects. The youngsters will organize together with voulunteers and with support of our professional staff urban street culture events in public space.

possible activities are: meetings with otheryoungsters, creatiung flyers, finding artists for events, creating in several cultural areas, preparing of team building games, creating workshops, developing own prjects, preparation of facilities for daily work.
Cross-project activities with our other facilities or partners are possible, if volunteer wants to do.
We want the volunteers to find there own field in one of our projects. This depends on the interests and abilities of the volunteers. We want them to support our work and to fulfill themselves and there own dreams in the field of socialand youth work.
