Resumo: The town is a developing industrial town populated by 10 000 inhabitants.The history of the town is rich and interesting.
The town has charming natural surroundings, situated in a basin, surrounded by forests and a group of lakes and offering many recreational possibilities including winter and summer sports. The programme of annual cultural and sport events is also rich and varied.
There is ice-hockey hall, fitness centrum, volleyball playgrounds and small swimming pool. Despite of a
small town there are 3 basic schools and 4 secondary schools which are very important for our organization.

Our organization is in this building since 1991.The building has two floors. Downstairs, there are kitchen,
classroom, a room with a carpet where children play together. Upstairs, there are another classroom, a room
with computers, and three offices. Volunteer will have own office for her/his work. A volunteer can use computer in our organization.

About each family group take care two educators and one nurse. Each group of children themselves go shopping, cook, cleaned, etc.
There are three houses, two of which are occupied by children, one consists of operational facilities (kitchen, dining room, offices). In the main building is the third family group, there is also a ceramic workshop, a fitness room and table tennis.
Volunteers will be based at the family groups in the staff room with bathroom. Throughout the visit the Orphanage a volunteer will help the family group. The regime have children in Orphanage similar to the family - after coming from school children to undertake their responsibilities - school preparation, assistance in the home. They can also do their hobbies. Volunteers will prepare program for kids - games, contests, activities sporotovnA­ or creative activities. Activities during the year is very diverse, children go on excursions, sporting, cultural, cognitive and other events that will accompany the volunteer.

Perfil: We are open to all young volunteers that would be interested in work with children and youth. And interested in new activities and understand what children need. We need curriculum vitae and motivation. We welcome previous experience working with children. We can talk together by Skype or phone, to know more each other. We would like to know a volunteer´s perceptions, expectation and needs and he/she will know more about our organization, about our work and we can confirm our interest in double-sided. Mostly people in all organizations talk only in Czech, so it is better when volunteer will want learn our language as soon as possible. We want to be in touch with a volunteer before arrival. Ongoing e-mail correspondence we will inform a volunteer about news and events so volunteer will know how our organization works. Also we will invite a volunteer to join us on Facebook. On this social network we present our facility and some of our clubs and activities.
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: In our organization, a volunteer learns mainly work with children, understand them, know education, preparation the programs, communication. A volunteer will learn to self-sufficiency, responsibility, self-knowledge and self-control. A volunteer learns how to work with children and youth in regular workshops, ocassional activities, holiday programs, weekend’s programs and camps. A volunteer learns to work in a team of workers, youth, children and adults, learns different working methods on the field of the pedagogical and social work, communicate and change experience with workers from our organization, learn the Czech language, culture and way of living. Get to know the own skills, strength and facility. A volunteer will learn how to create complex programs - preparation and realization, cope with new challenges. He/she will have the opportunity to develop themselves through their projects.
Volunteer will work only 35 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday are days off. Volunteer starts at 10 o'clock, because workshops take place in the afternoon. When we organize some program during weekend, volunteer has free day more. Workshops take place from October till May. The best start of EVS in our organization is in September (the beginning of school year).

During school year a volunteer will participate in regular workshops which take place in the afternoon. He/she can choose according to his/her interest which workshop will attend. For example painting, pottery, dancing, sport, etc. We can establish also special workshop if he/she is able to do something special (juggler, ballet dancer…)
A volunteer will assist the pedagogical staff and the leaders of groups but will not be responsible for children and youth. A volunteer will help in regular worshops, lead of his/her own course (under supervision),lead weekend activities.
One time per month a volunteer will prepare program for weekend activities. When children stay in the organization for two days. Each program has different topic, games and creative part. It means that a volunteer has to set the purpose of whole weekend, choose activities, methods and technics. Preparation materials and tools. A volunteer will always cooperate with pedagogical staff.

A volunteer will also paint and create new games for children and plays these games with children during events, which are prepared for public, schools or groups of children. For example-Children´s day, Earth Day, Ecological programs.
A volunteer also prepares activities during holidays – Autumn, Easter, Spring, Summer..
Helps with exhibitions, propagation, inviting children to join our programs. A volunteer will help also with administrative matters such as creating banners and posters. He/she can visit schools, talk about EVS, his/her country and experiences.
A volunteer will visit the Orphanage one time per week and prepare activities for children and help pedagogical staff during trips. A volunteer will go there in the afternoon and prepare workshops for children. And sometimes volunteer will join them and go to the trip, visit interesting place or culture events.
A volunteer will also visit one time per week the Special school and asist disabled children during art and pottery classes. Volunteer also can prepare program. The educators from the Special school will help them.
One time per week a volunteer can visit the new club. It is called the Open club.
The Open club is for young people aged 7-25 years and it is open three times per week. A volunteer will attend and prepare short activities for its visitors (such as handicraft activities, talks about her/his culture, cook some meal).

He/she can make new contacts with young people.
Open club is a 5 min. walk from the organization. Opening hours of the club is every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 15.30 to 18.30 hour. Volunteers always prepares individual activities (like as games, competitions, handicrafts) for visitors who will attend every Thursday. A volunteer will always be under the supervision during whole stay in the Open club.
