Resumo: The medium-sized town which counts approximately 18,000 inhabitants, is situated in the heart of Slovenia, in a valley surrounded by numerous hills. The town used to be industrial, but since Slovenia had achieved independence some 20 years ago, its heavy industry (coalmining, cement industry and a power plant) is being restructured into other forms of economy.

Perfil: A young person, preferably male, age 18 – 30, who is flexible, open-minded, has a self-motivation and proactive. Who likes sports and implementing activities with young people age 14-30.

Age: 18-30

Tarefas: Volunteer will prepare sport activities for local youth, aged 14-30, promoting EVS in other organisations in the region (schools, youth organisations, public events). He/she will participate in regular activities (organisation and implementation), partially work in the club / cafeteria, take care about logistic for larger foreign groups hosted in the hostel (taking care of meals, organizing free time, taking care about Trbovlje touristic tours etc.), promotion of his/her culture, organize his/her own activities on different topics (sport, culture, social themes, intergeneration, non-formal education etc.). One part of the project will be reserved for implementation of his/her own larger project (based on volunteer’s idea) with the organization's support.
