Resumo: Activities will be held in the town, with support from the municipality, in the Youth Center which is open to all youth in the region. There will be many opportunities for indor and outdoor activities. The Youth Center works with many cultural and educational organizations in the region, also kindergartens in the town and homes for children deprived of parental care. Volunteers will have the opportunity to organize various outdoor activities inthe town because of the fairobale climat and environment and facility conditions such as playgrounds, parks and the town outddor stage suitable for this purpose.
Our organization is in contact with youth centers in the region and other towns and villages around the town and has established strong relationshops with them. Many young people in town have a keen interest to enageg with the EVS volunteers which helps for the successful implementation of EVS projects and the broad positive resonance in the local community.

Perfil: The Youth Center is open to all interested and educated young people wishing to become volunteers and ready to help achieve the objectives of the organization. Volunteers must be motivated and open to new challenges that they will inevitably face in meeting the new cultural environment, they have to posses strong morals, to be enthusiastic, to have positive mood, to be ready to contribute ideas and strong willingness to work with young people. To provide open, transparent and equitable process and access for all young people wishing to become volunteers at the Youth Center we will create a committee to discuss proposed applications, conduct interviews on Skype and select the most appropriate candidates for our volunteers. We would like to partner with sending youth organizations from all eligible countries under the EVS.

Tarefas: The Youth Center is an organization with extensive experience in working with volunteers. Volunteers will have the opportunity to develop activities related to educationg childred about the media and the value of civic enagement, activities related to preparation and execution of theatre, environmental actions,intercultural activities; ethnographic activities, conducting various workshops for the arts, theatre, photography and those related to ecology, organizing of seminars and discussions on various topics concerning youth. In addition, volunteers can work with children deprived of parental care; activities in kindergartens. There will be options for outdoor activities related to nature such as eco-tours, cleaning of certain areas, preparation of advertisements for social and environmental activities and other celebrations.

The center offers ample opportunities for the development of various skills of the volunteers as for example acquisition of photographic experience, work in scenography and in the theatre studio, which this year celebrated its 20th anniversary, get acquainted with the local culture and customs, participate in the preparation and implementation of various initiatives and events calendar of the organization. Undoubtedly a great advantage to this are the good facilities and contacts with youth, cultural and educational organizations in the region.
All activities that will engage youth volunteers will be build on their previous experience, thus they will gain new knowledge and skills for the audience, how to work with new computer programs and specialized software, for a new cultural environment, work with adolescents and others. They will be given the opportunity to learn the Bulgarian language, to participate in workshops on assessment and planning of events, they will be able to implement their own ideas and to realize their own projects during their stay in Bulgaria.
As a result of the combination of their and our experience and the applying their creative skills and innovative approaches, they will gain knowledge and skills for planning and project management, assessment and analysis of projects results and outcomes. All these specific knowledge, skills and experience are very valuable for youth volunteers, because they can apply them both in their future training, as well as in their everyday work. At the end of the project volunteers will receive a Youth pass certificates, which will include an aknoledgment of all acquired skills and will be beneficial both for the continueing of their education and for the developing and future cereer.
The role of volunteers will be to organize and to participate in various activities such as discussions, seminars, roundtables, workshops and support activities of the Youth Centre. The volunteer will be a role model for young people visiting the center and for the general public.
