The volunteers will be living in the city area, The district is located around 4 kilometers away from the Activity Centre. This area famous in the city because it being a residential area for Swedish and International students. Most of the students that study in the University get their student apartments in this area. The main office of the Foundation is also situated in the area, so for volunteers it will be very practical to be close to the organisations office in case they need anything. The houses in the area are owned by the organisation. Therefore to find an accommodation for the volunteers in this area will not be hard for the hosting organisation. The volunteers will be sharing a living place in the same apartment, but with the separate rooms. All the volunteers will be getting monthly food money and they will be responsible to cooking, for which the organisation will provide everything that is necessary. There is also a possibility that the schools that are in co-operation with the organization to provide food for the volunteers.

Working week description: 36 hour working week (Activities + Swedish language courses),

Examples of typical activities/tasks for the volunteers
The organization has seven guiding words for all the activities, because the concept of the organisations is to give children the role model for their future life:
Respect - for the base of all good relations;
Fellowship for friendship and solidarity that get people together;
Trust - to be able to trust each other makes the individual strong;
Responsibility that is needed to achieve desired goals;
Attraction - to be a part of the organization will be both attractive and a privilege to participate;
Relation - a personal relation to the activities results in involvement;
Commitment that is what people need to maintain their interests;
All the beliefs are the routes of every engagement that the organization is involved in: sport, dance, technology, design, music, theater, film, photo and media, different out-door activities, etc. Integration and collaboration with society is a significant part in our work to create a close and lasting relationship around our target group.

The activities are:
- Basketball club from ages 5 (basketball team is playing in 2 division, and the next goal is to move to division 1)
- Judo club from ages 7
- Dance from ages 4 (mainly salsa)
With the Activity Center that is opening in January 2012, our activities will also include:
- Homework support - Home assignments is an important part in children?s schooling. Many children cannot get the support they need with their homework, therefore we offer access to a homework-room where there are always someone who can and will provide some help. Activity centre enables to extend the school day for repeating or spending more time on the assignments.
- Technology In today’s society technology has an increasingly important role which requires to develop good technological skills in children from early ages. We are making it happen by investing in activities that would encourage children’s technical curiosity and develop it further. Leading company specialized in research and development are in partnership with the organization and can offer guidance to the staff members. Here children are encouraged to experiment, exercises in constructions of building mini-robots programmed to play football, etc.
- Dance and theatre - The participants are offered a mix of different dance styles and drama exercises, which designs a good self-confidence and trust through their performances. Volunteers interested in dancing will be given opportunity to further develop their skills by organising activities for children.
- Reading projects - The idea is to encourage children and young people to deeper understanding about a literature, history, art, poetry, etc. This all will be done by reading about certain topics in the specially provided reading room in the centre. Another idea is to go to a reading-camp out in the woods together, children and parents, sitting around the bonfire and reading out loud. Volunteers who are creative could come up with the new ideas of what can be done to make the activities more amusing and memorable for the kids.
- Picture and media - Here children are given the opportunity to work with media in various forms such as recording and editing their own photos and films. Organized group activities will make challenging tasks for young people of all ages. This is very relevant for applicants that are interesting in photography, editing, etc.
- Music studio - Sound is another creative means of expression where you get deeper understanding and insight of different contents. Participants are inspired to express their thoughts, feelings, visions and goals through music, song and text which they offered to sing, rehearse and record in a professional music studio.
The aim of volunteers to be involved in the organisations everyday work is to make activity centre diverse, joyful and relaxing place for the visitors, as well as being a role model for the kids.
