Resumo: Our Staff is very tolerant and kind since they have much experience in international projects. They treat people in a way of European values and principles of mutual respect and democracy. Every member of our Office speaks English and German or French as well.

At the moment we have 4 people working as full-time officers. For the summer period we recruit more people for part-time work (up to 20 people involved in summer projects). The average age of our members is 27. Office for Initiatives Promotion has many contacts all over Belarus and that means that we can involve volunteers in to the projects organized in the rural areas of our country. For all the events out of the city the volunteers will be assisted by the Office Staff member.

Perfil: Age: 17-30
For EVS volunteers it is highly advised to speak English and/or Russian.

Tarefas: a) Week (1-2): Volunteering at the cleaning and reconstructing of the culture sight of 17th century in Belarus (5 hours per day, 5 days per week for 2 weeks). This part of volunteering also includes getting to know each other with different volunteers, involvement in organizing common social activities, practicing Russian/English.
b) Week 3: Preparation to the Forum “LeaderShip” that unites 100 children (13-17 y.o.) from Belarus and neighbouring countries for gaining leadership skills in various areas of their lives. The EVS volunteers are supposed to choose one of the areas of training for youngsters and to act as trainers/multipliers for them whilst Forum “LeaderShip”. The topics are:
- Team work and democratic leadership,
- Environment protection,
- Youth entrepreneurship and business skills,
- Social development,
- Culture and art development.
Volunteers are also supposed to be involved into organizing issues of the overall flow of the Forum.
c) Week 4-6: organizing, training, facilitating and evaluating of the activities in frames of the Forum “LeaderShip”.
