Resumo: The hosting project takes place in a town that counts 48,000 inhabitants. The town is rich in history, nature and architectonical beauty, it is surrounded by three lakes, characterised by gorgeous buildings and its small dimensions allow people to move on foot or by bicycle.

On the economical point of view the town has got several environmental, cultural and productive resources. The standard of living is good. Food farming together with cultural and gastronomic tourism are the main sectors. There are also some University departments, and the celebrated international, other art and cultural events and exhibitions are organised every year.

Climate conditions are characterised by humidity that favours fog in winter and sultry weather in summer. Possibilities for leisure time are offered by pubs, discos, water parks, boat excursions, and shopping centres, while night life is scarce, especially in wintertime.

Perfil: The organization is open to host both male and female volunteers of age who prove:
- evident interest for the specific project, for the promotion of culture and literature and for event management
- initiative and autonomy
- as for education and previous experience, the wide range of activities offered at the association makes it possible to recruit volunteers with different backgrounds (studies in the field of culture, teaching, administration, archive management, communication and public relations, etc.).

Tarefas: They will be asked to work together with the staff and other Italian volunteers in all association activities, in particular in 2 sectors: the secretary office and the archive.
Secretary office: It’s where they organise every edition of Festivaletteratura and the practical implementation of the event. Volunteers can help in the following activities:
-secretary work;
Verrà richiesto loro di affiancare lo staff e i volontari italiani di Filofestival in tutte le attività in cui l’associazione è impegnata, in particolare in 2 settori: la Segreteria organizzativa e l’Archivio.
Segreteria: in questa sede si svolgono i lavori collegati alla preparazione di ogni singola edizione di Festivaletteratura e tutto quanto è connesso alla realizzazione pratica dell'iniziativa. I volontari quindi potranno aiutare nelle seguenti attività:
- programme arrangement,
- individuation of the locations,
- logistics and stands preparation,
- promotional material edition (programmes, catalogues, websites),
- audience assistance
- ticket sales,
- on-site assistance,
- interpreting,
- accommodation and accompanying authors
- volunteers’ organisation- individuazione dei luoghi sede della manifestazione,
- preparazione della logistica e degli allestimenti;
- redazione dei materiali promozionali (programmi, cataloghi, sito internet, etc. - ),
- vendita biglietti,
- assistenza ai luoghi,
- interpretariato,
- ospitalità e accompagnamento autori,
- organizzazione volontar
Archive: it comprises the documentary material concerning the past editions since 1997 (written, audio recording of the lectures, pictures and videos). Possible activtiesactivities for volunteers are:
- inventory recording;
- materials stocking;
- documents digitization,
- information research for cataloguing,
- use of xDams Regesta, a document management platform for storing, organizing, sharing and using the archival heritage,
- involvement in visibility and dissemination activities (openings, publications),
- management of the incoming and outgoing requests for materials consultation and reproduction,
- contacts with the secretariat and editorial staff of the Festival.
Finally, the volunteers can also collaborate in the organization of moments aggregation for members of the association organized throughout the year.
