Resumo: This is a care center for elderly. The center has 4 departments: 1 department is for elderly with physical needs. The 3 other departments are meant for elderly with dementia. Each department has 30 inhabitants. The center offers the elderly a warm and cozy home by organizing activities, offering meals, library, hair dresser etc.

Perfil: A volunteer with a lot of empathy, with a sense of social feelings. Preferably with a good knowledge of English or French.
Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The volunteer will mainly participate with the daily activities of our elderly. We would like to bring the elderly in contact with "the world" outside our building. Specific tasks are:
- support during all the meals: talking with the elderly about the food, their habits regarding food etc
- individual activities on demand of the elderly: a board game, going for a drink in the cafeteria, library visit, just talking with them (they really appreciate talking!)
- together with the coordinator the volunteer can create and organise group activities
- the volunteer can work on his/her own idea for group activities or other activities.
- working with physiotherapist, so you can learn how to do a massage if you want.
