Resumo: This is a small primary school. The main school has about 100 children, from 3 till 12 years old. There are 2 small nursery schools, with children age 3 till 6. Children go to school from Monday to Friday.
Numeracy, literacy and life skills are the most important to learn.

Benefit from the volunteer:
We like to open the world for the children and bring them in contact with other languages, habits, cultures... and learn that people may look or sound different (which is interesting) but that there is a lot of similarity between people all over the world.

Perfil: -respect and like children, dealing with children in a patient, but firm way
-not to be shy to communicate with children, staff, parents
-knowledge about own culture: arts, music, cooking, games... anything children might find interesting
-creativity in finding and organizing activities for children

Tarefas: - assist the teacher in playing and learning activities in nursery classes
-small activities with groups of children mixed age (workshop) about the original country: cooking, language, music, artwork...
-teaching primary age children some of your own language
-co-operating with the teachers in brainstorm, planning, organizing various activities at school
-some office work

Horário: Monday: 8u20 till 15u20
Tuesday: 8u20 till 15u20
Wednesday: 8u20 till 12u
Thursday: 8u20 till 15u20
Friday: 8u20 till 15u20
With lunch break from 12u till 13u20
