Resumo: The main objectives:

- Facilitating non-formal ;learning experinces for EVS volunteers, to motivate them regarding the accelaration of the transition from school/unemployment. Through active life.

- Developing among youth basic skills in first aid and developing a healthy life style through the involvement in sport activities and also outdoor activities;

- Developing social/interpersonal/intercultural abilities of young people hospitalized with health difficulties from the host communities from Romania;

- Developing youth interest regarding the practice of volunteering in the favour of the persons having health difficulties.

Perfil: In the selection process will only be considered eligible candidates for the position of EVS, volunteers who meet the following conditions:

- Have a minimum age of 18 years and maximum 30 years

- Are residence in Italy, Spain or Portugal

- Have the right to leave the territory of the town/state of residence, as well as the Schenghen Area

- Have not participated in an internship EVS lasting over two months in the TIA program

- Send complete application to the sending organization in the state in which they are residence by the time indicated in the Volunteer Recruitment Announcement

- Agree to take part in an interview (face to face/phone/skype)

- as part of the selection process

- Declare that agrees to participate in OAT, and the other main measures of training/preparation configured in the project.

Tarefas: The main volunteering activities of the stages:

- Facilitating “board games” workshops and portughese, italian and spanish workshops in the hospital (qizz, mini-karaoke, painting/drawing etc);

- Facilitating “giving first aid” workshops (simulation, role games, treasure-hunt etc.);

- Administrating a volunteering center by “time-banking” method;

- Facilitating educational activities, sport/outdoor (team sports, orienteering games etc).

Horário: five days/week, 7 hours (average)/day

Condições: Accommodation: in rented apartments or rooms belonging to a university campus located in Arad. EVS volunteers will stay 2 persons/room unisex. All accommodation spaces will have the facilities for an independent living, at least at the medium level for the hosting community.

Food: serving the 3 meals/day: the EVS volunteers will receive an allowance for the acquisition and preparation of food, in order to be assured the breakfast, lunch and dinner at least average quality conditions for hosting communities.
