Resumo: Outline the project environment for the suggested voluntary Service, including the local community where the project will take place (e.g. geographical, social and economical environment). If the host placement is located in a live-in community, please include the rules and conditions that apply also for the volunteer.
The city where the volunteers will be host- is located in Romania.The mountains are easily accessible from the city. Some of these mountains provide skiing slopes The city is situated in the valley and is encircled on all sides by hills and mountains, which makes the climate in the city milder than the rest of the surrounding area. Abrupt temperature changes take place and, during the winters, the temperatures may occasionally drop below -20 degrees Celsius. It has a high level of culture and education, being home to theatres, schools, museums and art galleries.

The economic activity of the city has been based on the mining activities located in the surrounding areas. They have been replaced with several activities which have improved the city's economy in recent years. The city has become one of the most economically evolved cities in the region. As a result, several supermarkets have been built in the city and at least one shopping mall was opened . The largest sofa manufacturing plant in Eastern Europe Italsofa, is located near the city highway ring.
As of 2011 census data, the city has a population of 114,925. The ethnic composition of the city is as follows:Romanian: (84.11%);Hungarian: (12.25%);Roma: (2.76%);German:(0.24%);Ukrainian: (0.16%);Jews: (0.02%).
People are friendly and hospitable.
The EVS volunteers will be accommodated in a rented apartment or in one of our places: in a three-room apartment or in a house with four bedrooms.Anyway, the mentioned places are in safe area.They have to observe the rules of a good cohabitation, to keep clean the place.

They will develop their activities in one of our centers (Day care center, Miani Community, Night shelter, Semi-autonomy service,aid warehouse) or in comunity according to their skills and preferences.

Perfil: we are looking for young that wants “to put themselves in game “with the proposes and participation, aged 18, open- minded, international think, open, flexibile . We also like to let our activities open for changing to let everyone feel host in her/his wishes and competences. Also our volunteers aren’t specialized persons in the social field because for us to share experiences with our youngsters means, first, to do an exchange among young person.
We always try to host volunteers from different countries to create a bigger intercultural exchange, alternating boys and girls.

Tarefas: - homework support for children, participation in creative labs for children
- realization of packages for donations and distributing them
- Unit Mobile support (provide food to the street kids)
- receiving in the night shelter (serve dinner to street kids)
- participating to the volunteer trainings, language courses, mentoring meetings
- recreational activities with the children from the foster home
- to participate and propose various activities for different events (Volunteering Fair, Christmas, New Year,Day of Europe, The national week of volunteering, the national day of youth, Easter, , The international day of kids etc).
