Resumo: "MMC Pulsar is regional multimedia centre in the Gorenjska region, which operates under Zavod O. Our job is to assure free internet access, ICT equipment and access of information to everyone in the Gorenjska region. Within the MMC premises there are 11 computers available, which can be accessed every week day between 11 am and 21 pm, and every Saturday between 11 am and 14 pm. As a support organization we provide all our equipment for individual and non-profit cultural organizations free of charge. Video assembling, photo handling and media digitalization are provided for creative purposes. We also offer top-level video camcorder and all belonging equipment for professional video production.
MMC Pulsar provides free Wi-Fi hotspot for wireless browsing available for notebook users and also free UTP cables for network connection.
MMC Pulsar has settled server infrastructure, which provides free internet hosting for individuals and non-profit cultural organizations, as well as allows promotion of their cultural activities on our web portal gorenjski.kulturnik.si.
As part of our programme we offer education and training in the field of multimedia – organised as courses, workshops and video projections.
Within kulturnik.si, which is a joint project network of multimedia centres, we have set up the regional cultural-linformation portal Gorenjski kulturnik (http://gorenjski.kulturnik.si), where culture instititutions in the Gorenjska region can publish their events, programme activities and other information, which immediately automatically appear on the Slovenian national culture portal: www.kulturnik.si."

Tarefas: We are looking for a volunteer who will join the team of our Multimedia Center where he or she will spend three days a week. All together there will be four volunteers in Škofja Loka. On one day during the week they will work together to produce material for the web page of Zavod O International (videos, interviews, pictures, text, blog, comics...) and to realize monthly events (for example EVS events in ostriga, Karaoke night, poetry evenings, cultural events, meetings of groups with certain interests,...). In these activities they will include a wide network of people who they get to know during their work in the sections or in any other local organization. For one day during the week the volunteers will be involved in an additional local institution to widen their network and possibilities for the realization of projects. Activities - Planing the program (workshops, events, ...) - making short movies (funny movie for each year student freshman’s party, other prominent events …), - work in computing (web pages), graphic design of PR material (leaflets, posters …), - help to administrators - MMC has regular working hours from Monday till Friday. And here is where you could create your project with us. Exact possible tasks in our multi media center: - involved in organizing program in mmc (workshops, courses, ...) - production: video production, postproduction - videoreports - webpage editing and maintainance (for MMC Pulsar, Zavod O International) - editing social networks (facebook, twitter, blogging, ...) - multimedia events - gamers sessions - web design, 2d design, 3d design, animation, ... - organizing photo gallery shows, events - organizing digital art gallery - 2d, 3d, web design - multimedia creations (audio, video) - filming, editing - programming applications - Establishing wifi hotspots - Your own intermedia and multimedia projects - performances with IT elements - creation of posters/ flyers
