Resumo: The city is situated on the banks of a small river connecting the river. The nearby mountains have its slopes planted with vineyards. The area is known for its old traditions cultivating grapes and wine production. Today, the city is the center of the Hungarian habitation. Therefore although it is comparatively small town with a population of about 26, 000 people, it is usually taken as a very busy student town. There is also a professional Hungarian national theatre and an amateur folk theatre .

Existing target groups volunteers could serve among are the following:
- orphans in family type children’s homes
- elderly people in communities
- work with children "Playhouse", "Bible studies for children at home", "Children's service", "Children's weeks", Christmas events, Bible costume carnivals, meetings for the youngest ones and their mothers,
- work with adults (visiting the sick, organising support meetings for former addicts of alcohol or tobacco, clubs for the elderly, open-air programs for members of the congregation, delivering meals and medicine for the needy).
Working with orphans in family type children's homes volunteer'’ accommodation is organised at the home of the host family, the volunteers having their own bedroom, sharing the living room, kitchen and bathroom/toilet. While working with other target groups, volunteers' accommodation in these cases are usually in separate rooms of a students college, where volunteers can meet other young people.

- learn about the culture,
- be challenged,
- gain personal experiences of problems,
- deepen their faith,
- spend a year away from their usual life.

Tarefas: The activities in which the volunteers could be involved:
- visiting the sick and the poor, helping them around the house (cleaning the house or around it, cleaning the stables, feeding the animals, milk the cows etc.),
- helping with the work among the kids, youth and adults both with language teaching and arranging programmes for them,
- distributing meals to the elders and needy people,
- helping with the organization of programmes for the youth and taking part in them,
- contributing in the support gatherings held for abuses of alcohol, tobacco and drugs,
- helping in the communities,
- dealing with socially disadvantaged people, national minorities, and the Roma,
- helping in taking care of children in family type children's homes.
