Resumo: The host organization is situated ina city that hosts more than 3 million foreign tourists and local tourists up higher every year, thanks to its high quality touristic infrastructure. The city is where you can enjoy four seasons at the same time. While you can enjoy the sun, you can enjoy the snow on the mountain after a 30 min. journey. Also, the city’s being small and secure makes it preferrable in terms of living there. Project location of the volunteer is the city with a population of 56.000. The city is connected to main roads, within easy reach to most of the historical and touristic spots. It hasn’t got transportation problem and hasn’t got too much industrialization. It has an economy based on agriculture. The air pollution is less than other cities as a result of a small amount of industrialization and wider green fields. As it has a university, students make up most of its population. This has caused that the city has a lot of activities and areas appealing for young people. It is a vibrant city with festivals, theatrical performances, concerts organized throughout the year. Its history and its being close to the touristic places are its most important features.

Perfil:
A high level of communication skills, warm character and being helpful and patient makes the perfect volunteer for our organization. We want people with a a high motivation, opened to an intercultural and international dialogue and with curiosity about the cultural differences that could be found in our country. Special attention will be given for a balanced distribution of gender in the process of selection. We will share the call of the hosting project in the different platform and networks, the potential EVS volunteer scan send us an e-mail with their cv and motivation letter expressing their interest of joining our project. We are open to work with all the sending organization interested to cooperate with us but also with the ones that matches our aims and that works with youngsters having the profiles we look for.
Age: 18-30 years old

Tarefas:
- Youth Organizations will provide Turkish language classes for EVS volunteers in the organization by professional tutors. Volunteers will have a chance to learn Turkish language in a good level. The classes will be provided on weekly basis - 2 times in a week, during 2 hour and a half - in the organization. Non-formal examinations will be organized in order to check the Turkish language level of the volunteers and also make the classes more advantageous. Volunteers will have the chance of learning Turkish national dances and at the same time get acquainted with the Turkish culture. They will be able to attend Turkish national dance courses once a week. 2 times in a month they will be provided with a chance of learning cooking Turkish food. They will attend Turkish cuisine class in GO cafe part of the organization in the kitchen by professionals. With attending Turkish language, Turkish national dances course also Turkish cuisine courses organized by professionals the volunteers will have a great chance to interact with Turkish culture easily.

- There will be a responsibility distribution among volunteers.
1) Regarding the number of the projects belonging to GO, the volunteers will be responsible for the project management and correspondences with the partners. They will prepare daily or weekly reports according to the projects. Beside the assisting and correspondence they will also search for the possible partners for the projects. 2) Education & development advising The volunteers will give Education and Development advising for the University students in the organization once in a week . They will search for new education opportunities in the country and abroad. They will give information about new education projects and programmes. They will teach how to look for a grant and scholarships for studying abroad, etc.
3) Reading club Volunteers will be involved in organizing various clubs in GO. One of them will be Reading Club. The reason of the organization of this club is that nowadays people read less and less books. This happens because of the fast improvements in the technology like Internet. Reading club will be organized once a week, and each time various books, newspapers and magazines will be read by participants and later discussed.
4) English conversation club English Conversation Club will be organized by volunteers once in a week for high school and university students. Every time two of the EVS volunteers will be responsible to held the Conversation Club. The main aim will be speak only English and improve English language speaking skills by non-formal education form.
5) Music (Instrument) classes The volunteers will organized music classes (guitar, piano, etc) two times in a week for the interested young people.
6) Understanding youth work Once a week the EVS volunteers will meet with young people and they will give information about what is youth work and what are its benefits for young people. Because in Turkey there are majority of people who do not understand the aim and opportunities of Youth work. Organizing this meeting with interested youth in the organization will increase the number of youth who can be involved in future projects of GO and give their contribution to youth work.
7) Creating projects There will be selected one EVS volunteer who is more experienced in project writing. Once a week,a course of project writing will be organized for people who are interested in writing their own projects. Each time one professional person on project writing will be invited in order to give main tips and suggestion on how to write a good and winning project.
8) Creative thinking Creative thinking courses will be organized for youth in GO one time in a week. The EVS volunteers will animate the session by giving to the youngsters new tools and methods on creative thinking where they can learn to be more independent, more skilled, more intelligent and believing in them selves.
9) Movie club There will be organized a Movie Club by EVS volunteers once a week in GO. The volunteers will have the chance to demonstrate famous films in their own countries to the participants. At the same time old and recent movies will be selected and demonstrated and later be discussed by participants.
10) Cultural course: Each EVS volunteer will give a presentation about his country and cultural from diffrent aspects (food, music, clothes, folklore music, language, etc)
11) Free session in this session, the EVS volunteer will be free to choose a topic for a workshop that he or she is interested to share and animate with the youngsters.
12) Weekly evaluation GO will organize a weekly meeting with the EVS volunteers, their mentors and its members to evaluate the weekly activities and the daily life, the results of the sessions and the progression of the volunteers. The weekends are off; volunteers can rest, travel,visit other cities. Also s/he can attend in sporting events, matches, activities, projects, youth exchanges camps and trips throughout the year. Volunteer will share a flat with other volunteers and members of our organization who study at the university. Volunteers will stay with their peers, thus adapting to the country and the city more easily and realizing intercultural learning on the highest level. The project activities will last 1, 6, 9 or 12 months.
