Resumo: The voluntary activities proposed here is the same proposed in our 2 previous manifestation of interest (3 and 6 years ago) and performed by our former volunteers: collaboration with the staff of organization with the educational and recreational activities for local communities' children.
The central office oof the orgnization is located in a city with about 100.000 inhabitants. The city district (“provincia”) has about 450.000 inhabitants and is part of the “Trentino-Alto Adige” region, Northern Italy. The region is one of the richest in Italy, being the city one with the highest quality of life of the country. There are three different languages spoken in the region: Italian (26,47%), German (69,15%) and Ladin (4, 37%). In fact,the city is a unique city in its type, meaning a meeting point between two of major cultures in Europe: the Mediterranean and middle European one. In this reality, our volunteers will experiment that all cultures should be respected in a similar manner and living together is possible. It's a multilingual and very dynamic environment.

Perfil: • inter-cultural sensitiveness and knowledge in inter-cultural communication
• competences in the organization and coordination of activities and projects
• abilities in leading and coordinating groups
• knowledge about new social-cultural realities which are different from their own one
• possibility to discover and develop new own professional competences through a voluntary service in a non-profit organization
• competences concerning of a social useful work with children and youngsters
• sensitiveness concerning the rights of the children
• improvement of abilities in the field of animation and promotion of recreational activities (free-time activities but also pedagogical and educational ones)
• personal growth: independence, self-confidence etc.
Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The tasks of the volunteers could be resumed as the following:
- participation at the organization and at the realization of the games
- support in the organization and development of summer centers
- organization and realization of workshops concerning their own country, for example about a typical day of a child in the own country, concerning Europe etc.
- organization of inter-cultural activities together with the other volunteers
- to raise awareness about the rights to play of young people
- participation in the team-meetings and the monthly supervision with the other volunteers
- promotion of new activities and projects connected to the voluntary service, as for example the presentation of the possibility to do an European Voluntary Service to the young people of the Province.
