Resumo: European Volunteers will have a significant impact mainly on the young people. The project includes information meetings mainly with young people, who still don’t know the benefits of the Youth in Action Programme. We want youth to be more open to Europe.
There are also meetings with parents and teachers planned. The aim is to show them what volunteering is , its European dimension and that it is a great opportunity for their children/students and not a threat. Most of them doesn’t know the real meaning of voluntary service and its value. That’s why we want them to meet young people who are volunteers and can share their experience of EVS.

Perfil: We are waiting for the application of young people who have good communication skills, like taking part in varied tasks, can handle and solve problems. The volunteer work will contain both administrative (office) work and practical things.
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: The main topic of this project is working with children by organizing two sessions of the workshops. The idea of the workshops is to present to children (age 11-13) culture and language of the countries taking part in the project. Last year during a similar project the workshops organized by the EVS volunteers were very successful and brought a lot of joy to the children , their parents and the volunteers as well.
