Resumo: Outline the project environment for the suggested voluntary activities, including the local community where the project will take place (e.g. geographical, social and economical environment). If the host placement is located in a live-in community, please include the rules and conditions that apply also for the volunteer.

The host organization is situated in one of the biggest city of Turkey with a population of 2.5 millions. The city is one of the most important cities thatgets the highest rate of immigrants. The city, which has been the starting point of many civilizations, is the culture capital of the world. Production, agriculture, industry (automotiv, textile), stockbreeding and tourism are main income fields of the city's inhabitants.
The population of the city has the same rates as the population of Turkey. This means that 60% of whole population consists of people who are under 30 years old. There is the University in the city, which has approximately 40.000 students. That brings even a more vibrant life to the city. It is also important to mention that the city is among one of the most popular cities that is preferred by tourists, both historically and tourism wise.

The city has positive and negative sides because of its situation between. Positive points are that the comfortable transportation to the city, and negative point is that it is sometimes under the shadow of those cities. But still, the city is an active city, which turns the negative points into positive ones. Withh all recent developments and success, it has brought herself to a good place.

Since the head office of our association is located in the city center and the volunteers will be accomodated also in city center, there will not be any transportation problem for the evs volunteer. But in anyways, the city has a really good transportation web consisting of bus, minibus, tram and taxis (public and private) that are all supporting eachother.
The people of the city are highly tolerant , since theyare used to be with foreigners. Having received a huge amount of tourists everyyear has put the city's inhabitants in a good level of communication and dialogue with foreigners. They do respect in different cultures and cultural differences, not only because of foreigners visiting the city but also because of the different groups of immigrants belonging to different cultures that are moving to the city.
This immigration results as several communities belonging to several cultures. And this brings a multicultural appearance to the city. It is very possible to live all Turkey just in the city, because the city is mosaiq of Turkey.

Perfil: age: 17-30

Tarefas: Our first priority is that our volunteer is a teacher as well as a learner. Because according to us volunteer is a not a free labor, but a member of the host organisation throughout the programme. Both the volunteers that we are going to host and send will be working in the mosaiq of Turkey; and that requires individuals who are open to teaching and learning, have innovative and different ideas, creative and self-confident.
All the rights of the EVS programme ( language, health, transportation, accomodaiton, safety, mentorship) will be provided to the volunteer in thebest way. We will support our volunteer to take place in all activities of the association in local, national and international basis if they are matching with the vision of the volunteer. We will provide necessary possibilities to our volunteers to let her/him share her/his past experiences
