Resumo: l´organization est situé dans le quartier qui compte environ 60 000 habitants. Il s’agit d’un établissement catholique d’enseignement accueillant des jeunes de toutes confessions, de divers milieux sociaux, d’origines différentes.

Ceci permet un brassage des cultures très intéressant pour la mise en place de projets à dimension internationale et interculturelle. La situation géographique du lycée est idéale puisqu'il est placé non loin du centre-ville et est très bien desservi par les bus (devant le lycée) et par le train (à 500 mètres du lycée). Le volontaire sera hébergé au sein même du lycée dans un logement qu’il partagera avec les assistants de langues. Il aura accès au self pour ses repas en semaine. Le vendredi, le responsable du self lui préparera ses repas du week-end qu’il pourra cuisiner dans son logement équipé d’une cuisine. Notre projet fait suite à une demande des élèves en termes d’animations au lycée dans le but de créer une cohésion entre les élèves de chaque classe et à une demande des équipes éducatives du lycée pour une meilleure implication des élèves dans la vie du lycée et pour une dynamique commune des élèves.

Perfil: Considering the missions given to the volunteer, he/she will have to :

- be 18 or over (most of our students are over 18, so it seems to us very important that the volunteer should be older to guarantee his/her intergration)
- be experienced in working with teenagers, be responsible
- enjoy being in contact with teenagers, team work and creating activities.
We are looking for a young person who has already been involved in his/her school or an association and who is motivated in our project.

The country of origin does not matter.
We will give more importance to the applications from young peole who show an interest in the promotion of cultural activities, and who are involved in associations or NGOs. We are looking for a volunteer with skills in project management.

We would like to work with a sending organisation working on the promotion of cultural activities.

Tarefas: Thanks to an association, the volunteer will be able to have French lessons. He/she will also have the possibility to attend different French lessons with our students whenever he/she wants or feels the need to.

We will also help him/her in his/her administrative papers and give him information concerning the bus system, the local events, sporting facilities, cultural events that he/she could profit from.

The volunteer’s role will be to put in place different activities in the school, with the help of the school activity coordinator, the tutor, the person who is responsible for the EVS project and the teachers.

He/she will participate in the Health and Citizenship Education Committee, in the Students Committee and will then take part in the setting up of the activities which have been decided in these committees, activities on the theme of Sustainable Development, health and international. He/she will also go to different classes with the teachers to speak to the students about his/her.way of life, the education system in his/her native country and about his/her experience as a volunteer. He/she will attend cultural events with the students (plays, cinema…), he will also be able to take part in the school trips.

All these activities will permit to have interesting debates about the different european cultures during round-table conferences at special events like Europe Day for example.

As for the activities he/she will put in place, they will be created in accordance with the students’ desires and skills : sporting activities, cultural activities,…). In that way, it will create a group dynamics with students working together, helping one another, showing solidarity,.. and at the end of the year, these activities will be presented to the whole school.
