Resumo: we search volunteer for nonformal, intercultural experience - support participation of volunteers on public live, enable them to
obtain new knowledge about ecology and environment protection, practical skills in management wetland and river bank
biotopes, practical skills in permacultural gardening, and practical skills in works in creating educational center in old school building in small village, endangered preparing water dam construction project.

He/She will have opportunity to work with children and young people in sphere environmental education during summer camp.
Aim of EVS will be helping with activities for educational center for environmental and regional education, of school children
open for groups of school children, who can see and try there traditional handcrafts, local products, learn more about
sustainable development, save energy, and values of local surrounding in northern part.

Volunteer will also help with preparing materials for environmental an regional education about the valley – making
photos, writing short articles about plant and animal species, and about history of region to inspire others by showing them
how valuable and important these are.
Our philosophy is offer each one sufficient area for find objective of his/her priority interest, which he/she will can employ for the Association framework.
Volunteer will help members of the Association with practical – continual monitoring different natural localities, eliminate invasive species of plants, care about educational trial etc.

Protection of nature, local heritage and the environment is in context of changing world really important
Our association works in order to contribute the good use of our natural environment. It seemed very interesting for us to
share our concern with as many people as possible. To do so, we wanted to involve young people to our activity. Offering that
possibility to young people from other countries is also one of our objectives. Beyond the intercultural enrichment, It give
them the opportunity to evaluate the situation of the environment in our country and help us to care for it, and will also help us
to get new ideas and maybe give example to young people from Slovakia to do the same, by giving the volunteer possibility
to work and contact local youngsters.

Perfil: Food
Boarding will volunteer partially secure in own himselves/herselves; during day he/she will eat together with other members of Association.

Accommodation
The Association will find adequate accommodation for the volunteers in cca 6 km far from the village, in rent flat or house. Volunteer will be accommodate in independent room – provide using kitchen and bathroom, washing machine probably dealing with other people.

However sometimes is probable, he/she will stay in the village for several days, in old school house – in common room
with other member of the Association.

Language training
Volunteers will receive language training during they stay, private lessons (at least once per week) realized by person with
long praxis in teaching Slovak language.

Work
The volunteer will work not more than 30 hours weekly. The work for volunteer will not have fixed hours of starting or
finishing. It will depending on season, weather, and volunteer’s interests and skills (approximately 6 – 7 hours at day, five
days per week).
He/she has right for 2 free days at week, and 2 days of holiday monthly.

Safety
The mentor will meet continuously with the volunteer to help them, and solve any problems to adapt culture of foreign
country.

Tarefas: Volunteer´s work in Association, will depends the most of their skills and interests in field the Association framework.
- care about natural localities–(collecting rubbish, doing away invasive species of plants and planting original species, - - -
- work on arranging walking paths and educational trial
- engaging in sphere involving young local people in solving problems, influencing decrees about their environment and local
heritage protection
- help with preparing publications about natural values in valley endangered by preparing water dam construction
- help with creating center for environmental and regional education in the village, organize workshops, hand craft
courses, and happenings.
