Resumo: Project will be realized in the capital city. Current population is a bit more than 430 000 inhabitants. The city, lying on both banks of the river, is a modern, dynamic city located in the western part of the Slovakia. Its location makes it an ideal place for various free-time activities. City itself offers good conditions for roller-skating, cycling (road or mountain) and other commonly-known sports. For those preferring nature and non-sport activities, municipal park or nearby woods is the best bet. Downtown area, beside its historical shade, is a great place for entertaining yourself.

Wide range of restaurants, caffees, bars, theatres, cinemas, galleries and shops is available. Sights which should not be missed include castle, dome and the restaurant built on the top of a bridge pylon having its observation deck 300 feet above the river.

Our organization operates in three municipal districts. In social housing block in the district.
The block is a social housing block where people not able to pay their rents were relocated to. This community, labelled as problematic by others, encounters a high social exclusion. Drugs, crime and vandalism are easy to find here, children are lacking desirable behaviour models. Due to these issues, organization has been operating there since 2004. We offer to a children and youth free-time services (sport, art workshops, games, tutoring), social consultancy, crisis intervention, situation intervention, carrier consultancy.

Suburban district is an isolated housing area. It is surrounded by industrial facilities and from the central area it is separated by a cargo train reloading facility. Public transport service is quite weak. Children and youth have very little free-time possibilities there. We do various preventive activities and also try to encourage them to spend a free time in a meaningful way.

Vajnory district, usually know as a village in a city, is a family housing area. Many families with their children moved there in recent years so in other words, these children were moved away from their friends. Currently, we are working with district officials on a youth club, opening scheduled in autumn 2013.

Volunteers would be free to choose their place of work. They can work either together or separately - each one in different area. Volunteers would be accomodated in student dormitory or standardly furnished flat rented by our organization.

Perfil: Age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: To volunteers we would offer regular supervisions, teambuilding meetings and education during face-to-face work with a client. They could choose what they want to do in our organization according to their preferences from a range of main activities (free-time games, tutoring, interviews about school life, work with a pre-school age children, social consultancy). Complementary activities could include assisting in organization of community events and administration.

Free-time activities - This category includes all sport games (basketball, football, Ping-Pong, etc....), workshops, dance, music, movies. Organization of various team games and competitions (treasure hunt, puzzle). The main task of a volunteer is to actively participate and to motivate others. These activities positively influence personal skills such as fair-play acting, team work, competitivity, co-operation and assertivity
