Resumo: The host organization has worked for years in the field of youth policies, immigration and social development, and would like to involve in its activities 4 volunteers for 4 months. The project wants to promote European citizenship and the role of young people in the future of Europe and to bring together young people from different cultural background in order to develop solidarity and promote tolerance and to foster mutual understanding.

Perfil: Age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: In particular the project wants to encourage young people to reflect on European topics like legality, green economy, youth employment. The volunteers will help the members of the cooperative in the promotion, organization and management of different activities intended to young people aged 14-35 (workshops, training, sport events, creativity days). Morover, the volunteers will be involved in the organization of “activity camp”.

Taking part in this experience the EVS’s volunteers will improve the awareness of the importance of active citizenship, sustebible development and they will discover common principles and ideals about nature and respect and they’ll improve the knowledge of other cultures, felling stereotypes and prejudices.
