Resumo: The city is a municipality with 5200 citizen in a rural area.

The region around has 150 000 inhabitants. Many work in oil- and gas industri onshore and offshore. Agriculture and fishfarms are also important . The economic situation in the region are good.
In the region a lot of people involved in local shops, in public service, in education and healthcare, in eldercare. Turism is a growing business.

Its good possibilities to do sport like skiing, football, golf, volleyball, handball. Its possible to be member of clubs for thees sports. Its also a lot of sports clubs for minor sports. Fishing in fjord or lakes is possible.

The EVS will stay together in a hostel /flat in a new building by the golfarea and live together with the golfstudants who are in the other flats.. Every one will have their own room and share dailyroom, kitchen ,bathroom. Normal rules for common flat. The flat is in the senter of the municipality and its short distance to bus stop, food store, post office, town hall, healthcare center, sport center, golf area, fitness center.

We will provide a shared flat for the volunteers in a house own by the municipality situated in a area of villagehouses and flats a few meters from the proshop at the golfareana and the fitsnessenter.The volunteers will share livingroom, kitchen,bathroom ,but have their own room for sleeping and private life.The volunteers flat is 1 km from Sveio sentrum with townhall,foodstores, cafeteria,pizzeria, sportsenter,school, kindergarten, healthcare center.

Our experiences with students living in these flats are good and secure. Leadrs from voluinteersenter will stay in contact with the volunteers in work and sparetime.

Perfil: Age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: The volunteer will be a member of the group of European young persons that will bring activities to the city in a very different way. In the group of volunteers we can offer different task depending on the volunteers interests. These tasks are working in: - art gallery, with disabled young persons, in volunteer office, in the golf area, in elder care senter, in kindergarden, in youthclub, in sport- and culturesenter, in the park , in local museum,in library, in senior university, for the Foundation,
the activities in which the volunteers could be involved and the activities the volunteers could create in your organisation.

Examples of typical activities/tasks for the volunteers.
Activities to be involved in:In youth work: Run youthclub one evenings pr week. Support for musicgroup/band.Go for local/distric journies with our youth cuncil. Take part in the youth council, organisation. Project international cooperation. Art /Culture: Assist for work in art galleri,- in museum, -in sports arrangement, -festival. Make life better for people in need ; Assist in elder care, make life better for disabled persons.

Entrepreneurship: The volunteer will be encourage to make activities in the local society and environment that are new in the city.
