Resumo: The municipality covers an area of 195 km2 and is inhabited by over 15 000 people. Most of them (ca.13 000) lives in the city.
The municipality is located in an area full of forests (36% of its surface ), lakes. There is clean air, calmness -ideal conditions for leisure activities.
It is about 100 km to the sea, 115 km to one of the biggest town in the area. The city located in the north-west part of Poland.
The organization aims to encourage the emergence and spread of new forms of expression, within and alongside traditional cultural fields (such as music, the performing arts, the plastic and visual arts, photography, architecture, literature, books, reading, community art, the cultural heritage including the cultural landscape)
Our EVS volunteers will be accommodated in a rented flat in city, where they will have opportunities to spend their free time (gym, cinema, gallery, pubs etc.) .

Perfil: We are very open to all types of volunteers - age. 18 until 30 years old, gender, nationality, education play no role for us. But of course we are looking for volunteers who are interested in our work and for whom the tasks that they can take with us represent a valuable contribution to their personal development. Important are sociability and desire for something new. As our volunteers will not only be in contact with the staff, but also with our audience.

Volunteers are welcome to join activities led by our trainers and propose their own actions.
We will announce the volunteer positions completely open, e.g. by the EU database, our website and Facebook page and possibly more unrestricted communication channels. Anyone interested who contacts us will be informed and consulted in detail about his motivation, etc. Those prospects who are highly motivated and thereby appear suitable will be invited to talk with us by phone or via Skype

Tarefas: The volunteers will be involved in the work of the organization as equal team members that support the full-time employees in their work and may additionally work on topics according to their own interests and skills. Possible work and learning fields for the volunteers may be on the one hand the support of our staff in regular activities in Community Centers but also in library, cinema and the organization itself. On the other hand volunteers may introduce their own ideas and projects and with staff members support put them into practice. We would appriciate volunteers activities like: organising non-formal language conversations after school either in English or in the volunteer's mother tongue, organizing cultural events, presentations which help to learn about volunteer's own countries & cultures, assisting in the running free time activities, particularly in the areas of arts, drama, crafts, sport, developing practical skills (workshops on cooking for example), or helping to learn basic computer skills (i.e. to use the internet, e-mail, to write letters).

Another volunteers task will be daily office work and participation in team meetings.
When there are events planned in the corresponding period, they will be asked help us with preparation, implementation and evaluation. List of major annual events includs: harvest festival, picnis, kermis, ″Christmas Charity’ (charity event in January), we pay attention to traditional and contemporary to crafts and specially weaving.
Volunteers will work generally five days a week - from Tuesday till Saturday from 01:00 pm. 07:00 pm., exept holidays and vacations when the working hours are: 11 am.-15 pm.
