Resumo: The Office running activities working together with Serbians, Roma and Albanian young people.

Climate in the city is continental, with two dominant seasons: summer and winter. Summers are hot and dry. Winters are cold and with little snow. The city has its own dialect, its folk songs and
dances, its national costumes and other specifics of the local culture, which are even described in Serbian literature. Although local people are very connected to each other, they are friendly towards foreigners, and incomers constantly refresh the community.

Volunteer would be able to attend this and festivals and cultural events in order to get to know better local culture. For example: Theatre week,International animated movie workshop, Streets Festival, feest - festival of pantomime…

Volunteer would also be able to visit many locations in and around the city, that represent local history.

In addition to this, there are many cafes and bars in the city, local restourants with traditional
Serbian cuisine, nightclubs and pubs.
Volunteers can experience life with the multi-ethnic atmosphere full of colours and brass music since there are around 5% of Roma people living there.
