Resumo: Outline the project environment for the suggested voluntary Service, including the local community where the project will take place (e.g. geographical, social and economical environment). If the host placement is located in a live-in community, please include the rules and conditions that apply also for the volunteer.

Our EVS project will be held in city, a midle-size town in the South of Romania. This is a town where u can see the modern meeting the old style of arhitecture, a town that has 4 museums, 2 theatres, 1 filarmonic, 3 big natural parcs, around 20 Schools, 12 HighScools and 2 big university where study over 20.000 students.

The city is an active city, with a cultural life and many youngs activities.
We have protocols with the University, 3 Highschool and 2 School, in this way our volunteers will have the posibility to interact with students. Our project will have many presentation for students where the volunteers will expose theyr experiences and theyr future plans. The EVS volunteeers will be the projects promoteur in the schools, they will make presentation not only about the project itself, but also about EVS program and theyr experiences in this type of activities.

The accomodation for the volunteers will be carefully choosed and it will represent an apartment near the centre of the town and close to the meeting room where we will develop the project. We have a room in the Student House where we held our weekly meetings and also develop some of our projects.

Perfil: Age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: For the period of the project we can offer to our volunteers:
• Non-formal activities that can be put in practice on our summer camp projects or in the school presentation of the project
• Opportunities to learn how to plan, organize and develop all stages of a project
• To develop solidarity and understanding with young people of the area
• To practice English and also to learn a little bit of Romanian and other languages
• To meet youngs from different countries and cultures
• To learn to work in a team
• To know more about the Romanian culture and traditions
• To share about their culture and traditions
• To get the Youthpass certificate

In the project every EVS volunteers will have a role, like:
• To be an active part of the management team for our projects and activities
• To be part of a multicultural team, amongst with the Romanian volunteers, and decide togheter about the best programs and topics, according to every activity.
• To take part in the planification, implementation and evaluation stages of the projects.
• To make presentation of the programs in different places: Schools, High Schools, Student groups, and to encourage the young people to participate in our activties.
• To prepare the publicity materials that will be presented in different places: schools, University, Public Institutions, newspapers, webpages, facebook.
• To add informations and pictures about the activities on the web page, facebook etc, during and after the projects
• To organize meetings with the other volunteers and work as a team
• To participate in all the projects organized the Association during the time they stay in Romania.

The EVS volunteers will be involved in activities like:
• Non formal games and activities to show cultural dimension and European values
• Handkrafts and workshops that promote the environment protection
• Outdoor and sport activities
• To help to prepare our summer projects: to review the equipment, the bicycles, the mate...
