Resumo: The hos t organization is located in a town of 18,494 inhabitants, a significant point, offers several services, offices, schools, hospital reference to its neighbors, swimming pools, sports centers. There are many commercial and industrial activities. The economic level is medium high, but also characterized by considerable heterogeneity in the distribution of wealth, with some situations of particular hardship and poverty.

The total population had in 8 years, an increase of 7%. This is due to a high growth area of the city and the construction of new residential areas and development services. The composition of the population reveals a strong presence of non-residents, by the presence of many large construction companies and industries that require labor intensive.

Perfil: Age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: Projects of the Youth Centre are several and organised according to different ages: from little children till youngsters.

After an initial period of observation of the different activities proposed by the Centre, the volunteer will choose with their tutor the activities he/she wants to engage in, in consideration of his/her personal skills and wishes.
