Resumo: From September to June, the volunteer will be participating in regular leisure time activities. We are looking for the volunteer who will be a part of an art, hobby and aesthetic leisure time activities for example ceramics, arts and crafts , painting or new art techniques. We offer a participation in a friendly and experienced team.

We run our activities mostly in the afternoon. He / she will get a chance to work with children, youth or adults. The volunteer will also participate in preparation of bigger or smaller events , occasional activities and sometimes weekend programs organized by the centre. These includes art workshops or seminars for schools or adults.
We´d be glad to have a volunteer who organizes some events for youth which could take place in our centre or at schools such as lectures about the culture of his country , preparing traditional food etc. He / she will be given a chance of learning new language and taking part in many other activities offered by the centre.
Our technical devices could be used as well / a TV, a PC, a slide projector, a table football, a Nintendo Wi , etc./
We would like to organize interesting and fun afte...
Motivation and EVS experience

The greatest motivation to participate in „The Youth in Action“ project is being able to interact with people from different countries who would be a part of our team. The volunteer can bring new ideas to our centre and by breaking language barriers and give people a chance to learn a new language in an active way. His presence can make the process of exchanging experiences more smooth. For example this could help breaking prejudices about other nations and help to tolerate different cultures and backgrounds.
We think about the project as an opportunity for young people to gain new perspective of different cultures, find new friends and get new experience.

As the first organization in the city participating in the project we would bring a new idea to this little town so as the other organizations can be motivated and participate in the future.

Perfil: We are looking for a volunteer interested in work with children and youth in the area of art (ceramic, paintings etc)
Age: 18 until years old

Tarefas: The Centre is located in two –floor building , downtown of the city . It takes only 2 minutes to walk from the centre to get there.
There are two clubrooms, a visual art room, a pottery, a kitchen, a sports hall and three offices in this building. Some leisure time activities take place in other locations , mainly in some gyms in the city but all of them are easy to reach in 10minutes walk. The volunteer will share the office with the staff where computer, printing machine and the Internet are available.

LOCAL COMMUNITY
The hot organization is located in a small historical town of about 10.000 citizens, fortified by the stone walls . Its main sites are the town- hall and St. Jacob´s church where the famous composer was born. The town is one of the most cultured towns in the region and you can also find many sport opportunities here. Our organization also participates in the cultural life in our town.
