Resumo: The placements will be based in our offices and working on our ‘Exchanges Programme’. One role will focus more on the Volunteering in programme and Social Media whilst the other EVS role will focus more on the Volunteering programme and Evaluation (case studies). However, there will be plenty of opportunities for the EVS volunteers to work together and we hope that both volunteers will learn a lot from the placements.
Both roles will also allow volunteers to bring their own skills and ideas to their work and we are interested in hearing your ideas about how you might want to add to these roles. EVS volunteers will also have the chance to undertake a special personal project in the second part of their placements, finalised through discussion with their supervisor. Previous volunteers at the organization have:
• Written an ‘Environmental and Sustainability Policy’ for the organisation;
• Worked with a national Welsh organisation to create a training pack to deliver Global Youth Work as part of a new qualification;
• Undertaken a research project on how the organization might use ‘timebanking’ as part of its work.
Please add any ideas that you have for a personal project to your application.
