Resumo: The host organization is based in a town which has a population of over 300,000. Our offices are to the west of the city, with good connections into the city centre; a short 15 minute bus ride away. The town is a lively city with a large student population and multi-cultural communities. It is located on the coast and has a history of shipping and industry relating to the docks and the steel and coal industries. The EVS volunteers will live with a group of volunteers working on other EVS projects in the centre of the town. They will therefore have access to all the facilities the city has to offer and live close to the communities where they will be working. There are many sites of natural, cultural and historical interest nearby, including the newly re-developed Bay area, the National Park, the Coast and the Valleys, famous for their outstanding natural beauty and industrial heritage.

Perfil: Age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: The project will have many opportunities for the EVS volunteer to get to know and make friends with local people. Living close by their host project will also help them get to know the people they will be working with better, and enable them to take part in sporting and cultural events, local festivals and community initiatives led by local groups
