Resumo: The area of implementation for the EVS projects we intend to apply will be in one of the largest cities is situated near the east bank of the river in central and has a population of aprox 300.000 inhabitants. It is a modern city with an growing echonomy and a flourishing cultural life that gives opportunities for many different projects. The city has offers many opportunities for volunteers to get a sence of romanian culture by visiting the cultural landmarks and also for leasure (nature and outdoor opportunities: Botanic Garden, Romanescu Park, Youth Park, shopping centres and leisure time locations: clubs, cinemas, sport centres, swimming pools).

One of the main institutions in the city is the University. It is an institution of higher education of complex integration, founded in 1947, with four faculties in the beginning, it has developed continuously, the number of specialization's increasing and today it meets the standards of a high quality academic instruction. It is one of the most advanced universities in Romania, including short-term (3 years) as well as long-term (4–5 years) teaching programs, post-graduate studies (MA and doctoral) in more than 30 fields and 90 specialization's. The number of the teaching staff (over 1,000) and students (over 22,000) places the University a among the five largest universities in Romania. It comprises 17 faculties and 2 colleges, offering candidates training in fields of higher education.

Perfil: volunteer that fit into one or several fewer opportunities categories so we are looking for any organization that could send us such volunteers. Please note that the fewer opportunities volunteers need to be identified at the moment of application so please let us know if you have/can identify in a short timeframe such a volunteers. Please also take into consideration the fact that we do not have necessary facilities and staff to accommodate volunteers with severe physical or mental disabilities
Age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: Amongst the concrete tasks of the volunteers we mention:
- prepare themselves for each meeting and activity with the requested materials (presentations, documentation etc.)
- attend all the PAT phase meetings and evaluation and planning meetings (weekly and monthly evaluations and planning’s) organized during the EVS project and directly related to it.
- assist the organization`s staff in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of non-formal education activities aimed at youth for the achievement of the project objectives
- Assist in working with the youngsters; propose activities, discussion topics, share opinions, cultural and traditional customs, etc.
- Be willing to learn keeping a keen interest in participating in all the phases of the experiential learning process
- Have a decent and proper behaviour towards the youth working with, other local actors and host organisation
- Promote the project and YiA programme throughout the duration of the project
- Be responsible and meet one's tasks accordingly.
