Resumo: The host organization is situated in a beautiful art-deco style building surrounded by a large park. There is a playground, an amphitheatre and a fireplace in the park. Everything in the building and the park is tailored to the interests of children and young people. There are special rooms for music, painting, pottery, dancing, reading or relaxing and even for bouldering and archery.
We coordinate several hosting organisations:
Schools in the region all the volunteers are accomodate in the town. We coordinate organization which is 35 km far from the town.
The town has around 25 000 inhabitants. There are many cultural events and places of interest (e.g. theatre, library, cinema, castle, museum) and sports facilities (outdoor and indoor swimming pools, ice ring, skiing areas, football stadium, gym, skatepark and climbing hall). The town itself is located in the valley of a river. The surroundings of the city offer a beautiful landscape with hills, tourist routes cycling and in-line skating paths. There is a large area with sand rocks (good for climbing) close to the city, mountains for skiing, rivers for canoeing and a large lake – all half or one hour away.
Perfil: We expect a young person who is willing to work with children and youth. We are open to host volunteers with fewer opportunities. We are not able to host volunteer on a wheelchair.
Our project is advertised in the European database for EVS accredited organisations, Youthnetworks.eu. The project description there contains all the details and the descriptions of the possible activities for the volunteers.
The recruitment process is transparent as we have a clear set of requirements which are a CV accompanied by a motivation letter on why the applicant wants to be an EVS volunteer. The applicant will be contacted by the hosting organisation via email and skype. In the case of volunteers with fewer opportunities we will be also in contact with a close relative of that volunteer.
We prefer to to cooperate with an organisation who is working with children and youths.

Tarefas: Volunteer for language activities
• Working with children (6-14) and youth groups in classes under the
leadership of a language education specialist.
• Working on different projects in the frame ofthe Erasmus programme
-writing and realising projects.
• Working on spontaneous, occasional events and summer camps.
• The volunteer shall work in the youth club in Decko. The youth club is a space for spontaneous activities of youths. The club also acts as an information centre for youths.
• The volunteer will also have space to create a project on his/her own, bringing new ideas.
• We cooperate with some schools in our region. Their programme is aimed at the development of the community life. Those schools and centers have a wide range of after-school activities and some of them specialize in work with children with special needs. Children with “special needs” include dyslexics as well as those with attention deficit disorders. The volunteer will work with children in the position of an assistant in leisure activities –after-school activities, language activities, sports activities, and school trips.
