Resumo: The host organization is a non-profit organization which has among other things eight day-care centres.

Perfil: Age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: The volunteer jobs we offer are in our day-care centres. The volunteers assist a teacher in a child group. They play with the kids, do arts and crafts, sing with them, and accompany them on excursions. We would also like the volunteers to offer projects to the children, for example with European awareness as theme. The age of the kids varies between 8 weeks and 6 years. The volunteers (max.4) live together in single rooms in a rented apartment in Berlin-Pankow and are sent to a language course right from the beginning of the EVS.

Horário: • working time: 7 hours/day • holiday: 2 days/month and free weekend

Condições: Some facts: • accommodation: Sharing a flat with max. 3 other volunteers (male & female!), each volunteer has his own room and it exists a group room with TV • pocket money • local transport: monthly travel card for Berlin • food: monthly lump sum and lunch in the kindergarten • language course: basic course (if there are no previous knowledge in German language)
