Resumo: The host organization is a cultural center for children aged 2-12 and their adults. We offer a wide variety of cultural activities, and we invite to explore the diverse and wonderful rooms of our house created for play and creativity. The organization presents a variety of high quality concerts for the whole family and children’s theater plays. Furthermore we offer workshops for schools and kindergartens in creative disciplines and organizing events, festivals, happenings, culture nights, conference etc. for children and adults, with a interest in children’s culture.

The project takes its start in the culture center, but can travel around in the south of Denmark.

Perfil: We are looking for a man or a woman prefarably between 18 and 28 years old.
We would be happy to recieve a person with a special talent (dance, performance, art, design or something else) and who would like to develop this talent working with children
We are also looking for a person who really likes children and who can be open and tolerant towards their culture and their religion. The volunteer must also be responsibel and proactive.
The volunteer must be able to speak English at a conversational level.
Age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: Proposed activities for EVS volunteers:
The role for the volunteer is to be an active part of the organization and participate in the activities that the house have to offer. That’s include to be involved in all kinds of different activities in the house, incl. opening, closing and having contact with customers etc.

In the project the volunteer will have to prepare a child cultural project on their own. In this process the volunteer will be helped and advised from the employers in the organization.

We can offer the volunteer cooperation with creative and professional people and a good network in this new country.

Host family
The coordinating organization will provide a host family for the volunteer. The life in a host family will facilitate the integration in the local community and will accelerate the process of both language and intercultural learning.

The volunteer will be invited to social events arranged by the the coordinating organization’s local chapters together with other volunteers, excannge students and host falilies.
