Resumo: The hosting organization is located in a quit town near the lake. There are about 16 000 citizens. There is popular winter sport ice hokey, in sumer time are popular water sports, golf. Ice hokey hall is popular place for spending free time not only for sportsmen, but for skating amateurs also. There are much nature around the town, so young people spends a lot of time in outdoor activities, especialy in summer. In cultural centre we have big office with classes for workshops and stages there young people can express yourself in arts and culture.

Many various activities are realized not in the office, but in streets, squares and other institutions of towns. We hope that volunteers will join our young and innovative teams in different cultural activities all over the region and generation of ideas will be on a high level. There are some active communities in in the city, like youth in church, sports for all, disabled people community and other. With all off them cultural people keep close connection for general activities. The city was founded 50 years ago, so it’s young and building up town. Today the city is on the way to form traditions and history, so town’s community is open to new ideas, also the city place is good step for young, nontraditional activities. We are planning to propose for volunteers rented flat for living and to choose the best way of feed by communicating with volunteer.

Perfil: Volunteers should be self-motivated, willing to take on new challenges, and open to working with people of all backgrounds and cultures. We hope to meet artistic volunteers which can sing, dance, play or similar and be opened to arts and culture. They should be prepared to come to the project with an open mind, ready to take on new ideas and ways of working. Volunteer should be communicative, creative, full of new ideas and able to communicate with people of different ages. Also volunteer should be prepared to work like auxiliary worker.
Age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: Volunteers will be able to organize various events for the local community, share their culture with the local people, and take part in traditional festivals organized by cultural centre and other organizations. Typical activities for the volunteers will be to prepare stage, class or other place for event by making decorations, lay out furniture, prepare and hang information posters in town, take part in events, tidy events place before and after activities, write articles for newspapers with own impressions about passed activities.

There is an open youth area in the cultural centre where volunteers will be able to organize educational activities for youth and children. Also volunteers will be able to take part in the office work by preparing various documents, taking care of technical work which is needed while organizing events.
As the most of the organization‘s staff members foreign language is Russian, we would be willing to host a volunteer who also speaks (some) Russian.
