Resumo: The municipality situated in a student city. It has 3771 unhabitants and offer a green and beautiful living environnement.
It has social accomodations that coul be given for the volunteers to live in.

This accomodations are situated in the center near a small shopping center, rooms of sports and cultural events. A bus desserves the city of Vannes that allows the volunteer to benefit from the advantages of a bigger city.

The municipality has a very rich associative life, a lot of cultural and sport clubs, several events take place during the year to liven up the life in this city. Unhabitants can meet during those events and benefit from entertainment close to their place of life.

The Youth club is situated next to the social accomodations and is opened on Wednesday, on Saturdays and during every school holidays.
The young people can also participate in different events in the municipality to meet the inhabitants and share rich and good times.

Perfil: We wish to welcome motivated young people , actors of their learning and interested in animation
They will have to learn to be attuned to children and to young people and to keep as a main objective to form citizens of tomorrow: learning the European citizenship, the solidarity, the rights of the children, the not discrimination …
They could have a specific tool of animation as music, dance, street entertainments to approach the themes, above mentioned, in a plauful way. They will especially have to want to exchange, to share, to make discover their own culture and be voluntary.

We would put down the offer on the site of saltoyouth and would answer the demand in an objective way. The selection criteria would be based on the values defended by the personn, on its capacity to be communicated and to participate actively in the building of the project with the municipality (through our youth service). The determination and the dynamism will be privileged.
The structures of sending could be associative or municipal, they have to make a commitment to respect the values defended by the organization such as citizenship and solidarity, values that are defended in the educationnal project. The structures could be schools of music or other arts but the volunteer would have to adapt himself to the public we work with. He would have to let his art accessible to all the children sothat the children could participate to the activities proposed.
Age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: Volunteers will have to participate actively in the building of their project in the municpality.
We are going to organize a good welcome sothat the volunteers can undrestand the environnment of region and of our mission.
A phase of discovery will enable the volunteers to dicover the municipality and understand the functionning of its different services.

In a second time, they will discover more specially the service of childhood and youth and culture.This service works on the library of the municipalityand organize animations on different items with the book. It also organize the cultural programm of the municipality in connection with the associations.
During the school time, they could intervene on small specific activities (testimony of the volunteers on their own culture, learning a song or a dans to the children, the educational system of their country, rights of european citizen for the day of the children rights). But it will be only occasionnal.
Each wenesday, they would participate in the leisure activities proposed to the children in our house of childhood to share their culture with children between 3 to 12. They could propose artistic activities according to their specific skills. The volunteers can participate punctually to the meetings of the children council to bring a european dimension.
Durins the period of scool holidays, the volunteers would be in the youth club where we receive youth between 10 and 17. The theme of animation would be the same (discovery of another culture, rights of the europen citizens and Europe) but would have to be adapted to the public of the youth club. They could participate t the actions organized by the youth service as the concerts (projects of the children council), the actions of self-financing during the festival for children”toulémome”, the music festival, the youth exchange that we organize each year.
If they wish they coul organize an event in the municipality especially on Europe.

They would developp different skills that are connected to the job of an organizer of leisures of a municipality : spirit of initiative, ability to speak in front of a group of children or of a group of adults and representatives, adaptability and dynamism…..They woul be actors of their learning and could follow courses in french.
The role of the volunteers will be to lead activities with the unhabitants :
- to developp an intercultural dimension in the actions of the service of childhood and youth and culture.
- to develop the European citizenship at the children and the young people of the municipality.
- to bring an opening on the world and to prevent the problems of discrimination.

The volunteers could work in those activities :
- in the youth club and the childhood club.
- in the city coucil of the children.
- in cultural events that occur in the city (day of the children, day of the music…)
- in primary schools (children rights, european citizenship, intercultural, discrimination;;;);
- in activities prepared with other cities next to the municipality
- in the culture service : cultural programm and animations in the library.
