Resumo: The office is situated in the capital of Moldova. The city is the main administrative, economic, scientific and cultural centre of Moldova. The city has just over 700,000 inhabitants and the whole metropolitan area is roughly one million inhabitants. In terms of number of inhabitants, the cityis the largest city of the country. The city is divided in five administrative sectors; Botanica, Buiucani, Center, Ciocana and Riscani. It is often referred to as the greenest city in Europe due to the high proportion of well maintained green spaces.

Volunteer(s) will live in a host family or volunteer's flat with shared kitchen, toilet and bathroom. Also volunteer(s) will have access to the land line phone in their accommodation. Internet can be accessed in the internet cafes and wi-fi spots in the city, also some volunteer flats have internet access at individual basis. Depending on the district of the city where volunteer will live he/she can reach the center by foot or by public transportation. Volunteer(s) will receive pocket money, food and local transportation allowances from our "contact point for EVS" - ADVIT Moldova.

Normally volunteer(s) is/are picked up by the mentor(s) and is brought to the place of the accommodation. For better adaptation ADVIT provides volunteer(s) with on-arrival orientation, volunteer(s) receive map of the city, dictionary, intensive language course and are enrolled to on-arrival training. ADVIT also arranges first meeting at the Center in order to get to know the Centre, staff, beneficiaries, activities also to discuss rights and responsibilities of the volunteer(s) and the schedule of volunteer's working week.

The organization is located in the city centre, on the 4th floor of the four floors building. It's easy to access by any mean of public transport. The organization has a big office with director's room, coordinators' rooms, conference hall, reception and bathroom. Volunteer will have working space, will be provided with computer and access to Internet and other office facilities.

Volunteer has lunch outside the centre. He/she can have tea/coffee in the institute. Volunteer will work in the office of the Institute and outside the office on the spot: trainings, seminars, informative meetings in different institutions of The city for youth and adults. There is possibility to have field trips around the region.

Volunteer will be coordinated both by volunteer's coordinator on general issues, like working schedules and general activity plans; and by project supervisors, in case if volunteer is involved in assisting of a the organization specific project implementation,

Perfil: The recruitment requirements are the following, volunteer should be:
- open to know a new culture and live in another country, being able to adapt to a new environment.
- aware of their responsibilities as EVS volunteers;
- willing to have new experiences and share their own ones;
- cooperative and flexible.
- open to young people without educational background in law, because there are many activities to do and opportunities to learn through volunteering in our organization

Tarefas: The volunteers will have the opportunity to get involved in various aspects of the organization´s activities, such as:

- Trying to raise awareness of the organisation by writing applications for possible funding opportunities, volunteer will be giving some applications and he will be asked to help with filling, proof-reading (in case if volunteers mother tongue is English), or give some ideas for activities that can be described in the application form.

- The volunteer will also manage there own personal project, such as arranging seminars, study visits and conferences, which focus on democracy in Moldova and greater awareness of human rights issues. The volunteer will be given a specific assignment and function in the preparation and execution phases of the event. They will get acquainted first-hand with all the organizational and logistic stages of a successful training event. Involvement in such activities brings multicultural exposure to the volunteers, as well as a feeling of recognition. Concrete assignments will include the following: the collection of information on the seminar/training topic in the participants' countries; collecting feedback from the participants and follow the event in order to assist in the preparation of the final report; setting-up a data-base of contacts, etc. Determining this assignment would depend on the volunteers' interest and particular skills.

- The volunteer will also follow European policy developments in the Moldovan youth sector and preparing European projects. For which, the volunteer will be liaising with the organization partners after a potential project have been identified. They could research it as well as seek possible funding opportunities. This would broaden the volunteer's awareness of the project initiation cycle, its development and timetable of deadlines. Concrete activities could be writing the organization Newsletter and updating the the organization website.

- The volunteer will assist with research projects. In particular, they will help the organization in finding partners and creating new projects in Europe and the rest of the world. The organization has a strong interest in establishing new partnerships with the countries where they do not have partner organizations. The tasks related to this activity are to identify the institutions, the local groups and organizations as well as any other parties involved in the implementation of (Inter)-Governmental programmes. Information of the sort would provide links to potential future partners. The volunteer's task would be to assist in this research by contacting the different agencies, institutions etc, thus finding out about current priorities and activities in the respective countries.

- The volunteer will manage a clear-cut project :in line with their skills, personal interests and goals; this will also be an opportunity for them to develop their own ideas or initiative.

The volunteer tasks will be revised upon volunteer arrival according to the current activities of the organization and motivation and abilities of the volunteer. Volunteer is coordinated by volunteer's coordinator, who discusses general activity plans and working shifts together with volunteer upon his arrival and monitors his/her work and provides the on -going support in general. In case if volunteer assists in a specific project, there volunteer will be supported and additionally coordinated by a project supervisor. Also volunteer will stay in contact with all the members of team and national volunteers of the organization.

The expected learning outcomes are:
- Communication and Teamwork Skills - Specifically through the task allocated to the volunteer at the host project it is expected that he/she will improve his/her skills in this area. He/she will have the opportunity to work closely with the staff of the host project but importantly also with the target groups of the project.
- Administrative and Organisational Skills - As part of his/her role volunteer will be helping to organise meetings and events. He/she will be fully supported in all tasks thereby giving him the opportunity to further develop the skills he/she has gained from previous academic experience.
- Intercultural awareness - By living and working in an intercultural setting, meeting adults and other young people from across the globe
