Resumo: The organization is a youth organisation based in Brussels, Belgium. We aim to promote an ideal of tolerance, solidarity and peace between young people from around the world and to encourage their active participation and mobility.

Our main activities include international camps, EVS, long term volunteering, local events and trainings. As of 2009, our priorities have been defined as being about migrations and social inclusion.

Perfil: It is important that the candidate makes empathy, autonomy and flexibility.

On the project, the volunteers will have the opportunity to strengthen their sense of touch, communication and organization. Interest in working with children, especially with young children and a creative spirit is an asset.

Given the nature of the project and the specificity of the public, it is desirable that volunteers should show some maturity.

Age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: Volunteers will be working with the service of leisure activities to carry out activities for the children and the women
of the centre. Their main tasks will be:
 to help with the organisation of the daycare within
the centre and to suggest activities for children (0-3
years old);
 to co-lead and to co-organise activities for children
(creative and artistic workshops, sports activities,...);
 to develop a bicycle workshop (lessons, rules of the
road, loans service,...);
 to co-organise workshops with families and women in
order to improve communication and community
harmony (cooking workshop or any other activities
that volunteers want to organise).
Volunteers will also have the opportunity to develop a personal project linked to the centre's values if they want to.
Accommodation: the two volunteers will share a flat within the centre (and they will share the same bedroom)
