Resumo: The hosting organization is located in a south of France in a little town. This region is composed of more than one counties; one on them is where we have our office. On the economic side, we can say that there are two important activities: tourism and vinery. The town is only at 20 kilometres from the Mediterranean see, the area is also rich with his patrimony heritage and is environment so that make this place an important place for tourism.
The town is a touristic town with a very rich historical patrimony, also well known by the times the great author spent in this town and by a French singer.
This is a town of 8000 inhabitants and its geographical situation make it a touristy place with a local economy.
Many other places are also wonderful and will be possible to visit. The neighbouring of the see, , will be opportunities for the volunteer do discover and visit.
Perfil: For the work camps, we will work with youth with less opportunity in the frame work of a centralised project which is organised by the European Alliance. We will work exclusively with our usual partners.
Age: 18 until 30 years old
Tarefas: The lodging will be various in the Workcamps (under tents, in an house… ) but always together with others We will naturally welcome volunteers that can live in that kind of lodging, even if it can be not too comfortable. The cooking is made by the volunteers in a special place or kitchen. The group, with the help of the camp leader, organise there every day life, rules of life. The volunteer will have to be ready to do some kinds of work like washing the dishes, cleaning the floor… The leader will have a special attention in welcoming the EVS volunteers and helping them to find their place in the group.
At least two tutors are there during all the days and the entire project. This presence will bring the group a specific European dynamism and that will help to have various discussion or leisure on this purpose. Volunteers, leader and youth from the local community will see that Europe is working on international exchanges and that this kind of project is possible for everybody. We already used to host short term volunteers on our work camps and think that it is a good solution for a development of EVS projects.
The volunteers will contribute to the every day’s life organisation with their cultural and personal specifications. They talk about their country with their point of view, about their experiences of leaving like a youth in this country. They can bring some formal examples (pictures, cooking recipe…) or bring their contribution by an informal way.
The volunteer will be as all the other volunteers of the work camp. He will participate to all the activities that could be proposed by the camp leaders: the work (5-6 hours by days, 5 days by week), the leisure and the common life.
The volunteers will have the opportunity on the technical side to do some masonry, environmental work (cleaning paths, rivers), painting…
They will be there, for the local community like a part if the international group with a European identity.
Where that will be possible to organise, we will make the volunteers from different projects meet in one place a few days before the beginning of the work camps. There, we bring a kind of initiation, some training courses. These will be organised with Concordia team which has already his agreement from the NA

On work camps, work on every days life organisation is made by all the group (cleaning, washing…) The decisions are taken by a democratic way and every body is involved in the life of the project.
The volunteers will also work on the work camp (5-6 hours by days, 5 days by week) by doing some masonry, environmental work, painting…

We don’t know if they will participate to some training in their country before leaving and we will adapt our program if they participate or not.
The organization wants to welcome youth and different projects in south of France and we will work with the Concordia team on this meeting and their pedagogical side.
The global following will be done by Michel Connan, the regional manager, in order to see if the project is in relation with the volunteer wishes and if there is no particular difficulty on the project.
The Europeans volunteers will leave and work with other volunteers in a work camp like it is written above. At least two tutors are there during all the days and the entire project, one will be the tutor, the second one will give orders to the volunteer. This presence will bring the group a specific European dynamism and that will help to have various discussion or leisure on this purpose. and we will work with the Concordia team on this meeting and their pedagogical side.
This project is a part of an centralised European one with the objective of working with youth with less opportunity.
